摘要: A compressor has a housing and a cylinder block. The housing includes suction and discharge chambers. The cylinder block is fixed to the housing via a valve plate assembly. The valve plate assembly forms suction and discharge ports and suction and discharge valves. A partition wall is formed with the housing, and separates the suction chamber and the discharge chamber. The housing includes a first surface, and the cylinder block includes a second surface. At least one of the first and second surfaces is concave in shape. The cylinder block is screwed to the housing at the partition wall or a position closer to the central axis of the housing than the partition wall by a bolt so that the first surface faces the second surface.

Plural deformation absorbing grooves 39 are provided on the end surface 191. Each one of the deformation absorbing grooves 39 is provided in each intermediate space between the adjacent paired cylinder bores 41.

摘要: A gasket 36 is interposed between an end face 341 of a front housing 11 and an end face 351 of a rear housing 12. A coned disc spring 37 is interposed between an end face 192 of a cylinder 19 and the end face 341 of the front housing 11. When the end faces 341, 351 are caused to approach each other so as to be joined together, the coned disc spring 37 is first held by the end face 341 of the front housing 11 and the end face 192 of the cylinder 19. When the end faces 341, 351 are caused to approach each other further so as to be joined together, the gasket 36 is held between the end faces 341, 351. Thus, it is ensured that the cylinder and the seal material interposed between the first housing and the second housing are held therebetween.

摘要: The flow control valve used in a variable displacement refrigerant compressor, which is incorporated in a refrigerating system, and arranged in a controlling passage fluidly interconnecting between a crank chamber and a discharge chamber or a suction chamber to regulate an opening formed in a predetermined portion of the controlling passage in a control characteristics in which when the discharge pressure of the refrigerant discharged from a discharge chamber of the compressor increases, the suction pressure of the refrigerant entering from the refrigerating system into a suction chamber increases. The flow control valve has a pressure sensing member for sensing of one of the suction and the crank-chamber pressure, and a valve element movable to increase and reduce the opening of the predetermined portion of the controlling passage on the basis of sensing of one of the suction and crank-chamber pressures by the pressure-sensing member.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor in a refrigeration circuit using carbon dioxide refrigerant. The compressor changes the inclination of a swash plate located in a control chamber in accordance with the difference between the pressure in the control chamber and the pressure in a suction chamber thereby varying the compressor displacement. The compressor includes a control valve that adjusts the difference between the pressure in the control chamber and the pressure in the suction pressure. The control valve controls the flow rate of refrigerant supplied from the discharge chamber to the control chamber thereby adjusting the pressure difference. A controller inputs information from the outside of the refrigeration circuit. The outside information includes the outside temperature, the temperature of a passenger compartment and a target compartment temperature set by a temperature adjuster. The controller sets a target value of the pressure of refrigerant discharged from the compressor in accordance with the outside information. The controller then controls the current supplied to the control valve such that the target discharge pressure is rapidly reached. The compressor reduces unnecessary operation thereby reducing the power consumption and the load.

摘要: The present invention relates to a refrigerating system and a method of operating a refrigerating system. The refrigerating system includes a compressor, a gas cooler used as a heat-dissipation type heat exchanger, an expansion valve used as a throttling means, an evaporator used as a heat-absorption type heat exchanger and an accumulator, which are connected in series with each other to form a closed circuit. The closed circuit is adapted so that the higher pressure of the closed circuit becomes the supercritical pressure of a refrigerant circulating the closed circuit. This has a control characteristic property wherein the lower evaporating pressure increases as the higher pressure increases. The lower evaporating pressure and the higher pressure are detected, respectively, and if the detected value of the lower evaporating pressure is lower than a target value for the lower evaporating pressure determined based on the above control characteristic property in correspondence to the detected value of the higher pressure, the discharge capacity of the compressor is reduced so that the lower evaporating pressure coincides with the target value.

摘要: An improved scroll compressor having a movable scroll that orbits without being inclined. The compressor has a fixed scroll formed in the housing. The movable scroll is accommodated in the housing and mates with the fixed scroll. The movable scroll is driven by a drive shaft via a crank mechanism. A flange is formed at the periphery of the movable scroll and lies perpendicular to the drive shaft. A groove is formed in the housing. The groove is slightly wider than the thickness of the flange. The flange is slidably accommodated in the groove. Support holes extend through the flange. A pin is supported in each support hole. The ends of each pin are received in guide holes. Since engagement of the flange and the groove prevents the movable scroll from being inclined, the pin is maintained parallel to the guide holes and follows the wall of the guide holes. As a result, uneven wear of the pins and the guide holes is avoided.
