A variety of limits are included to ensure that the time between defrosts is reactive to sudden aberrational changes in defrost times, and does not exceed minimum or maximum values.

    摘要: A bit breaker and handle for use in conjunction with a drill bit. The bit breaker is in the form of a plate member which is provided with an outside edge having a configuration to be drivingly received within the kelly drive of a drilling rig turntable. The plate is apertured to telescopingly receive a marginal length of the main body of the bit therethrough. A plurality of lugs are circumferentially placed about the aperture. The lugs are slidably received within an enlarged marginal length of the external bit passageways, and abuttingly engage a shoulder formed at the outlet end of the passageway. The drill tubing is held while the turntable is rotated in the appropriate direction to "make up" or "break out" the tubing threads respective to the threads of the bit. The external passageways are further provided with radially extending counterbores which receive the marginal end of a handle therewithin so that the bit can be easily lifted respective to the plate member.

    摘要: A compressed air system is provided for automotive or motorcycle use, wherein compressed air is utilized to assist clearing a windshield or a windscreen during foul weather. The system comprises an electrically driven or belt driven air compressor, a compressed air reservoir tank, a network of air lines throughout the vehicle or attached to a rider's helmet, and a plurality of air nozzles that release the air from the air lines on command. The ejected air is highly pressurized and exits at a high velocity to remove water droplets and particles for improved clarity through the windshield or wind screen. A user-operated switch controls at least one valve to release the compressed air from the network of air lines and through the nozzles, wherein the compressed air tank is continually replenished to allow for consistent and repeated bursts of compressed air over an extended period.

    摘要: Continuous processes for forming cyanoacrylate from polycyanoacrylate include stripping a solvent from a reaction mass; cracking a polymer in the reaction mass to form a cracked cyanoacrylate monomer and residue substances; and distilling the cracked cyanoacrylate monomer to produce a cyanoacrylate monomer product. These steps can be performed in short-path, wiped-film evaporators. Polycyanoacrylate used in the processes can be formed using cyanoacetate produced by processes for continuously producing cyanoacetate by forming a higher homologue cyanoacetate from a lower homologue cyanoacetate. The cyanoacetate can be formed in short-path, wiped-film evaporators.
