摘要： A method of executing to battery power consumption between an access terminal (AT) and an access network (AN) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. More specifically, the method includes transmitting a notification message to the AN, receiving a confirmation message from the AN, and entering the power-saving mode according to the determined power saving mode. Here, the notification message includes at least one of battery life information and a power-saving mode request, and the confirmation message includes a determined power saving mode which is based on the at least one of battery life information and the power-saving mode request.

The method comprises receiving in at least one of a base station and a relay station information regarding a mobile station group (MSG) of a mobile station, scheduling within a given duration uplink information to be transmitted from a first mobile station and downlink information to be transmitted to at least one mobile station, wherein the first mobile station is in each of the at least one mobile station's MSG, receiving in a relay station the uplink information and the downlink information to be transmitted within the given duration, network coding the uplink information and the downlink information in the relay station, and transmitting from the relay station a network-coded packet, wherein the network-coded packet can be received by the base station and the at least one mobile station.

摘要： Time synchronization of an access point base station. The method may include receiving an assignment message from a service provider comprising a plurality of parameters. The plurality of parameters may include an access point base station frequency assignment, a network identifier, an access point base station identifier, a neighbor list, a PN offset, and/or a scrambling code. The access point base station may then synchronize with the macro base station. Synchronizing may include searching for a strongest macro base station in the neighbor list, synchronizing a long code of the access point base station to the macro base station, estimating a propagation delay between the macro base station and the access point base station, and initializing a state of the access point base station PN code using the propagation delay to provide system time synchronization.

摘要： A parking guidance and management system. The system provides graphical information regarding the relative availability of parking spaces within a parking garage or other large facility. The system relies on a video image sensing system wherein each space in the facility is monitored by a camera to determine whether or not it is occupied. A single camera may be used to determine the status of a plurality of spaces. The information is displayed at strategically located displays along the way to available spaces. The displays contain advertising messages adjacent to the information about space availability. Revenues generated by the sale of advertising can be used by the facility operator to defray the purchase and/or maintenance cost of the guidance and management system. The information obtained from the sensors at each parking space may be used to provide information to the manager of the facility regarding space utilization. Information regarding the occupancy status of each space may also be used as a check on receipts of parking fees and to identify abandoned vehicles.

摘要： A method for communicating data based on an unlicensed band in a wireless communication system comprising a first type network entity and a second type network entity which is different. The first type network entity comprises a cellular base station and the second type network entity comprises a Femto-cell base station. In the method, a cellular base station identifies at least one Femto-cell base station incurring interference and instructs the identified base station to operate on an unlicensed band. The technical features can be used to improve the performance of the wireless network, and/or to reduce the effect of interference.
