摘要: By connecting correction information storing means to an exterior computer, such as a personal computer, and then utilizing the personal computer as a second image storing means, it is possible that correction information is read from the correction information storing means and M value gradation image data is read from the second image storing means, to reproduce the read M value gradation image in a state where position errors at connection part has been corrected In addition, since image data having N value smaller than M value is stored in a first image storing means that is required to be installed as an inner memory, it is possible to suppress the storage capacity of the first image storing means. As a result, the invention provides an image processing apparatus capable of reading gradation image with reduced memory costs of storing means.

摘要: A patterned, multi-layered thin film structure is patterned using ultra-fast lasers and absorption spectroscopy without damaging underlying layers of the layered structure. The structure is made by selecting ablatable layers based on their thermal, strength and absorption spectra and by using an ultra-fast laser programmed with the appropriate wavelength (λ), pulse width (τ), spectral width (Δλ), spot size, bite size and fluence. The end structure may have features (such as vias, insulating areas, or inkjet printed areas) patterned in the last (top) layer applied or at deeper layers within the layered structure, and can be used as components of organic light emitting didoes (OLEDs) and organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). The method of the present invention includes determining the product's specifications, providing a substrate, selecting a layer, applying the layer, patterning the layer and determining if more layers need to be added to the multi-layered thin film structure.

摘要: An image forming apparatus that enables a source document ejected after image information reading is completed, and a printed sheet on which an image has been formed based on the image information, to be removed easily with one hand while maintaining their segregated state. In this apparatus, a source document feed tray holds a source document. A source document ejection tray is positioned below source document feed tray, and holds an ejected source document. A sheet ejection tray is positioned above source document feed tray, and holds a printed sheet ejected onto the uppermost part of the main body of the apparatus. Source document ejection rollers eject a source document into source document ejection tray so that the ejection direction downstream edge of source document ejected into source document ejection tray faces the ejection direction downstream-side position of source document ejection tray rather than the source document feeding direction upstream edge of source document feed tray.

摘要: First to third recording units 11-13, each of which is made up of a recording part 2 for recording an image on a record sheet 4 and a feeding part 3 for feeding a record sheet 4 to the recording part 2, are driven concurrently to share the processing of recording image data ranging over two or more record sheets 4. A delivering part 5 loads record sheets 4, which have been image recorded in the recording unit 11-13, onto specific bins 51-56 so that the record sheets 4 are stacked together on top of one another in a specific sequence.

摘要: A nozzle of an ink jet head is formed such that a droplet of ink is emitted in a direction nonparallel to a virtual plane formed by a scanning direction X and an electric field direction Z. A voltage is applied between a nozzle plate and a facing electrode for creating an electric field. First and second ink droplets are emitted from the same nozzle during one print cycle. The first ink droplet is emitted in an uncharged state in order not to be deflected by the electric field. On the other hand, the second ink droplet is emitted in a charged state in order to be deflected by the electric field. Because of the difference in deflection amount, the landing positions of the first and second ink droplets are varied, whereby dot density can be improved to be twice as great as nozzle density.

摘要: An organic semiconductor film that can be used for an electron device, for example, particularly can be used for organic TFTs so as to allow the TFTs to have advanced performance, is provided and a manufacturing method therefor is provided. For instance, the organic semiconductor film contains the organic conductive high polymer compound such as polythiophene represented by the below formula (I). The organic semiconductor film is formed by forming a solution in a thin film form, the solution showing two or more spectral peaks (spectral state B) in a wavelength region of 300 to 800 nm by measurement using a visible and ultraviolet absorption spectral method; and drying the solution formed in the thin film form. Alternatively, the organic semiconductor film can be formed by the method in which the organic conductive high polymer compound has a molecular weight distribution range Mw/Mn from 1.00 to 1.85, obtained by dividing a weight-average molecular weight Mw by a number-average molecular weight Mn. With these methods, principal chains of the organic conductive high polymer compound molecules are arranged substantially in parallel, thus enhancing carrier mobility.
