Abstract: Apparatus and method for controlling auto focus of a camera module. A controller is configured to provide a signal comprising first frequency signal and second frequency signal to a moving coil, a fixed coil receiving the variable current or the variable voltage through the second frequency signal, calculate a focus position value based on the received variable current or the variable voltage and an image signal, and control a lens unit to move according to the calculated focus position value. The controller is further configured to receive the second frequency signal only during a specific time slot in order for the second frequency signal to not include noise due to OIS signal and apply the OIS signal to an OIS coil during the rest of a time slot of the second frequency signal.

Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and method for controlling auto focus of a camera module. The present invention includes a lens unit, a moving coil, a fixed coil, and a controller configured to provide a signal comprising first frequency signal and second frequency signal to the moving coil, the fixed coil receiving a variable current or a variable voltage through the second frequency signal, calculate a focus location value based on the received variable current or variable voltage and an image signal, and control the lens unit to move by applying the first frequency signal to the moving coil according to the calculated focus location value, the second frequency signal is higher than the first frequency signal and is comprised of the signal during a prescribed time.

Abstract: Disclosed is a camera module capable of overcoming a design limitation on a structure for auto-focusing and handshake compensation attributable to the thickness of the camera module provided in a small-sized camera device. The camera module includes a refractive unit including at least one lens, which has an optical axis oriented in a first direction, a lens case for supporting the refractive unit mounted thereto, a focusing-driving magnet secured to the lens case, a focusing-driving coil configured to accommodate at least a portion of the focusing-driving magnet inserted thereinto and to receive first current and generate driving force for allowing the focusing-driving magnet to perform first relative displacement in the first direction, a compensatory case configured to support the focusing-driving coil fixedly mounted thereto, and a focusing-sensing coil fixedly provided in the compensatory case and wherein second current is electromagnetically induced at the focusing-sensing coil by the first relative displacement.

Abstract: A camera and a terminal including the same are disclosed. The camera according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first prism apparatus to reflect a first input light input in a first direction to a second direction; a second prism apparatus to reflect a second input light input in the first direction to the second direction, and output the reflected second input light to the first prism apparatus; a lens apparatus to receive the first input light from the first prism apparatus or the second input light from the second prism apparatus; and an image sensor to generate an image signal based on the first input light or the second input. Accordingly, it is possible to implement a slim camera that can use a single image sensor with respect to a plurality of cameras at the time of front photographing or rear photographing.

Abstract: A displacement sensor comprises a first frame; a second frame; a first coil wherein a first voltage formed at the first frame is applied; a second coil formed at the first frame, wherein a current of a second voltage flows if the first voltage is applied to the first coil; a conductor coupled to the second frame; and a detector for calculating a relative position between the first frame and the second frame by monitoring the second voltage. Since two coils are embodied in one frame, the number of process times can be reduced and space utility can be enhanced.
