摘要: Methods for video stabilization during movement include capturing a video stream by an imaging system of a video stabilization system. The video stream includes a plurality of image frames. As the video stream is captured, a motion sensor of the video stabilization system detects a pattern of recurring motion. Motion sensor data is generated for the sequence of image frames that characterizes the pattern of recurring motion. At least one image frame of the sequence of image frames is edited based on a comparison of the motion sensor data for the sequence of image frames to motion sensor data for a region of interest for the imaging system.

摘要: A tactile interface for an electronic device includes a compliant portion, a first input sensor embedded in the compliant portion and a second input sensor. The first and second sensors produce differential output signal in responsive to tactile input forces applied in at least a common dimension or about a common axis. A processor detects and interprets the differential output signals as a tactile input at the touch input device.

摘要: A portable electronic device (10) has a customizable housing (20) where a “skin” (22, 72) is provided, wherein the texture and/or color can be changed by a consumer. The portable electronic device (10) is positioned within an apparatus (41, 51, 61) providing a power source for supplying radiant energy such as heat and/or light to the material. The method of customizing a housing (20) encasing electronics of a portable electronic device (10) includes treating the skin (22, 72) within the housing (20) with heat and/or light, and thereby creating at least one of a texture and a color within the skin (22, 72).

摘要: A method is provided for aligning, without user interaction, the two images of a binocular eyewear display (100) with respect to their vertical, horizontal, and rotational orientation, and with respect to magnification. The method for aligning images comprise generating a signal from a display modification system (108) based on stored values indicative of misalignment of the binocular eyewear display (100); and adjusting, in accordance with the signal, an image or images to be displayed by an optics system (106). The stored values may include values for a plurality of temperatures and humidity.

摘要: A method is provided for abruptly stopping a vibration motor providing tactile feedback (406) to the user of a portable communication device (100). The method comprises providing a drive waveform (401) including an attack signal (402), and a stop signal (411) out of phase with the attack signal (402), to one of the vibration motor (235) or the multi-function transducer (130) to quickly stop the vibration. The drive waveform may include an optional sustain signal (407) subsequent to the attack signal (402) and prior to the stop signal (411). A file stored in memory (212) is accessed to provide the drive waveform (401).

摘要: An electronic device (100) for performing intelligent operations includes a housing (112), a manually operable input (118, 122) for providing information to the electronic device, and a material (124) positioned between the manually operable input and the housing. An electromechanical transducer (218, 220) has a mechanical connection consisting of to the manually operable input and an electrical connection for receiving power, wherein substantially all of a mechanical output from the electromechanical transducer is provided to the manually operable input, the material preventing the mechanical output from being transmitted from the manually operable input to the housing. An electric circuit (210) is coupled mechanically to the housing and electronically to the electromechanical transducer for driving the electromechanical transducer in response to the intelligent operations so as to cause the electromechanical transducer to generate a tactile response that can be felt by a user through the manually operable input.
