摘要: An impulse radio communication device includes a wave detector for generating a detected signal, a switching section for selecting either a received signal or the detected signal in accordance with an external control signal and outputting it as a demodulation target signal, a reference waveform generating section synchronized with the demodulation target signal and generating a reference waveform signal having a different waveform in accordance with the external control signal, a demodulator for generating a demodulated signal from the demodulation target signal in accordance with the reference waveform signal, and a decoding section for decoding received data from the demodulated signal. This impulse radio communication device switches the demodulation target signal and the reference waveform signal simultaneously in accordance with a receiving and synchronizing state. This makes it difficult that synchronization is pulled in a correlation position having low electric power, and can reduce a acquisition time.

摘要: Using an inputted transmission information signal, a synchronizing signal and a data signal are generated. The synchronizing signal is set at and outputted to a first frequency channel comprising at least one frequency channel. The data signal is set at a second frequency channel comprising at least one frequency channel. The first frequency channel and the second frequency channel use frequency channels different from each other. This provides the signal synchronizing information at a frequency channel separate from that of the data. A sufficient time can be assigned for synchronization, making it possible to swiftly demodulate the signal during data reception.

摘要: A communication system includes a modulating circuit to increase the amount of information to be transmitted, a transmitting apparatus capable of easily generating a desired waveform even for any very short wavelets, a receiving apparatus capable of easily separating wavelets even if the intervals thereof are narrow. The modulating circuit includes clock generating, transmission signal generating, control signal generating, delay and wavelet generating parts. The clock generating part generates a clock signal at predetermined time interval “Tp”. The transmission signal generating part generates a transmission signal at interval “Tp”. The control signal generating part outputs a control signal of a predetermined duration based on the clock signal. The delay part generates the control signal as a delay signal that has been delayed by a delay amount based on the transmission signal. The wavelet generating part generates a wavelet at the generation timing of the delay signal.

摘要: Provided is a radio communication method which can reduce the power consumption as compared to the conventional technique while realizing coexistence of a plurality of radio communication methods and can perform synchronization with a super frame of other radio communication device. The super frame has life confirmation slots (2820, 2830) through which radio communication devices of various modulation types should transmit tone signals. A radio communication device has a chance to judge whether one or more radio communication devices using a different modulation type exist or no such device exists in the vicinity. If no such device exists, the slot to be used by the radio communication device of the modulation method is reported as a time that can be used by a radio communication group of other modulation method. Thus, by confirming existence of an object in the vicinity by other radio communication device with which communication cannot be performed, communication can be performed by sharing the super frame.

摘要: An FSK data receiving system is provided which is capable of constituting a direct-conversion receiver suitable for realizing an integrated circuit, is capable of decoding in a wide receiving band width, and is capable of realizing a small-sized and less-electric power consumption data receiving. An FSK-modulated local oscillator signal 3 is applied to a local oscillator 2, and there is provided a decode circuit 15 which obtains the decode signal 14 by judging whether the FSK-modulated frequency deviation of the carrier wave signal 1 is a positive deviation or a negative deviation on the basis of a comparison result of a voltage change in a frequency-voltage conversion circuit 16 for a base-band signal 8; i.e. the output signal of a frequency mixer 6. An offset amount of the local oscillator frequency is judged by a voltage judging circuit 17 to produce a control signal 18 Further, there is provided another decode circuit 22 which makes a judgement of frequency change of the base-band signal 8 and a judgement of in-phase/opposite-phase relationship from the decode signal 14 and the output of the voltage judging circuit 17 so as to obtain a decode signal 23. Moreover, there is provided a decode signal processing circuit 25 which obtains a decode signal 24 from the decode signals 14, 23 in response to the control signal 18.

摘要: A beacon slot position control section of a radio communication apparatus constituting a radio network system which detects whether empty beacon slots are present in a beacon period. When an empty beacon slot is present before the period in which the radio communication apparatus transmits a beacon, a movable counter starts counting a specified number of super frames. When the count is completed, the radio communication apparatus transmits a beacon of the radio communication apparatus at the earlier empty beacon slot. Consequently, since the empty beacon slots are eliminated and the beacon period is compacted, even if the number of radio communication apparatuses joining the radio network system fluctuates dynamically, the radio communication apparatus can perform radio communication with high efficiency and less waste of consumed electricity.
