Abstract: A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for providing a game action sweep mechanic are presented. A virtual game environment that includes a first virtual object and a second virtual object may be generated for a user. User interactions involving a game pointer and a selection input are then monitored. In response to detecting the selection input being activated while the game pointer is located proximate to the first virtual object, a game action is then performed on the first virtual object. A game action sweep mode is then activated. While the game action sweep mode is active, the game action is then performed on the second virtual game object in response to detecting the game pointer is located proximate to the second virtual object.

Abstract: Expanded metal sheets are used to produce tubular filters. The expanded metal sheet has a multiplicity of rows of openings arranged to reduce nesting when the sheet is rolled on itself. In particular, the pitch between the rows of openings, the sizes of the openings, or both the pitch between the rows of openings and the sizes of the openings are varied to reduce nesting when the expanded metal sheet is rolled on itself. The filters can include external circumferential grooves, rounded corners produced by a point loading process, textured surfaces between openings, and/or torturous internal paths produced by non-perforated areas of an expanded metal sheet. The expanded metal sheet can be composed of carbon steel coated with a material having a higher heat conductivity, e.g., tin. Among other things, the filters can be used in automobile airbag inflators to capture slag and absorb heat produced by the inflator's explosive charge.

Abstract: There is disclosed a scheme for secure distribution of content in a manner that users will perceive as fair, while enforcing restrictions on the use of the content in accordance with the intentions of the content originator. The scheme provides a method of encrypting data set comprising: generating a seed value; seeding a pseudo-random number generator with the seed value; creating an encrypted data set by combination of the output of the pseudo-random number generator with the data set; and encrypting the seed value and associating the encrypted seed value with the encrypted data set. In a typical embodiment, the encrypted seed and the encrypted data are combined in a single file and conveyed to a media player that includes decryption core compatible with the encoding encryption scheme. Also disclosed is a content distribution system and a media player to take advantage of such an encryption scheme and a media player for use with the scheme. Content is decrypted on the fly using encryption data that is specific to a media player for which it is inteded to be used.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for reading a mark on a wafer. The apparatus includes a wafer receptacle having a mirror material coated on one side and a plurality of slots formed therein. The wafer receptacle is coupled to a base plate via a back support. The apparatus may also include a front support coupled between the wafer receptacle and the base plate. A plurality of concave mirrors are coupled to the base plate. A wafer placed in one of the plurality of slots reflects light to the mirror material coating the wafer receptacle. The light is reflected by the mirror material to one of the concave mirrors, which rectifies an image contained in the light and reflects the rectified image to the back support. The image can be viewed on the back support.
