Abstract:
The invention relates to a pneumatic spring percussion mechanism comprising a driving piston moving back and forth in a housing of the percussion mechanism and a percussion piston, wherein a pneumatic spring is configured between the driving piston and the percussion piston. The movement of the driving piston can be transmitted to a percussion piston by means of said pneumatic spring. The driving piston can be driven by an electric linear motor and is connected to an aromatic of the linear motor, forming a single piece therewith. This arrangement makes it possible to eliminate the use of a conventional rotary motor and a crank mechanism to drive the driving piston.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an operating device which is provided for operating an appliance and which comprises a hand-actuated operating part on which at least one light detector is provided in the gripping area of the hand. The light detector and an evaluating circuit make it possible to detect when a hand is approaching the guide handle or when the hand is gripping the same. The evaluating circuit accordingly activates a control device which optionally places the appliance in operation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a poker vibrator for compressing concrete. The poker vibrator comprises a vibrating housing that accommodates an unbalanced mass and an electromotor, an insulating plastic tube that links the vibrating housing to a switch cover, an electric cable that links the switch cover to a connector shell and a frequency converter that supplies the current for the electromotor. The poker vibrator is characterized in that at least parts of the components pertaining to the poker vibrator are arranged in the vibrating housing, the insulating plastic tube or the connector shell.
Abstract:
A vibrating plate consists of an upper mass with a drive unit and a lower mass with a ground contact plate and a vibration exciter. The upper mass and lower mass are coupled with each other at several points with spring-and-damper units. According to the invention, the spring properties and/or damping properties of the particular spring-and-damper unit in at least one of these points can be modified via a steering device which makes it possible to steer the vibrating plate.
Abstract:
An infrared remote-controlled soil compacting device is controlled such that the device cannot be set into operation as long as the operator with the sending unit is within close vicinity of the soil compacting device so that an accidental operation or propelling in the wrong direction is prevented. This is achieved by providing an infrared close range radiation in addition to the infrared control radiation required for the operational control of the device. The close range radiation has a substantially reduced intensity relative to the control radiation so that the close range radiation can be received within the receiving unit only within close vicinity of the sending unit. When the close range radiation is received within the receiving unit the generation or release of electric signals affecting propelling of the soil compacting device is suppressed.
Abstract:
A working device for ground compaction comprises an upper mass, a guide device coupled to the upper mass and intended to guide the working device, a lower mass which can move relative to the upper mass, which is movably coupled to the upper mass via a spring device, and which has a ground contact plate, and a vibration-generating device for producing a relative movement between the upper mass and the lower mass. Furthermore, a drive for driving the vibrating-generating device is provided, wherein the drive comprises an electric motor. The electric motor is supplied with electrical energy via an electrical energy store arranged on the guide device.
Abstract:
A piece of equipment which has a ground contact device for working on a ground region located below the ground contact device in the working position of the piece of equipment, a driving device which can be operated by an electric motor in order to produce a working movement of the ground contact device, an electrical energy accumulator, enclosed by a housing, for supplying the electric motor with electrical energy, and a covering device for covering the housing and thus the energy accumulator, which covering device is arranged above the energy accumulator in the working position. The piece of equipment may for example be a tamper, a vibration plate, a roller, or a breaker.
Abstract:
A soil compacting device has an upper body and a lower body which is coupled to the upper body by a spring device and which has a soil contact element. Furthermore, a drive generates is provided for generating an operating motion of the soil contact element, and an energy store is provided for storing electrical energy. A cooling air flow, which is guided through a cooling air flow guide along the energy store, can be created by an air conveying device.
Abstract:
The high flow water return fitting of the present invention is designed to connect directly to the end of a water return pipe in a swimming pool, spa, or the like. Water return fittings have been available for many years and have the primary purpose of returning filtered water back into a swimming pool, spa, or the like. However, the water return fitting of the present invention does not only return water into the swimming pool, it also substantially increases the water outflow so that a greater area of water in the pool can be circulated or agitated. The present invention has a uniquely curved nozzle with a flat flange. Both the curvature of the nozzle and the flat flange promote the accumulation of water within the nozzle so as to build up pressure that then pushes the water out a small outlet hole at a greater rate than does a conventional water return fitting. The outflow from the nozzle then creates a low pressure condition within a mixing chamber. Thus, the low pressure condition draws water in from the swimming pool through various louvers into the mixing chamber where it is mixed with the outflow of water from the nozzle to increase the total amount of water flowing out of the water return fitting of the present invention.
Abstract:
At the end of a guide handle of a vibration plate service as soil-compactor an actuating element is mounted which can be moved in relation to the guide handle. Each position of the actuating element is detected by a sensor device which transmits a corresponding signal to a hydraulic steering unit. In this way, the phase angles of unbalance masses can be modified which in turn influences the direction of travel of the vibration plate.
