摘要: A warning system of a camera for providing a photographer a warning indicating an impediment to a window, provided in a front wall of the camera, through which light traveling toward and/or from a subject passes. It includes a touch sensor, disposed in close proximity to the window, which involves a resistance, or a body capacity, of a photographer's finger touching the sensor in, and as a part of, an electric circuit. This provides a change in electric parameter of the circuit by which a warning device is actuated to emit light, or otherwise generate sound, as the warning of impediment.

摘要: A method of making a magneto-optical recording medium comprises the step of forming a magneto-optical recording layer on a substrate by simultaneously carrying out direct current sputtering and radio-frequency sputtering. Alternatively, a magneto-optical recording layer composed of thin rare earth metal layers and thin transition metal layers overlaid alternately on a substrate is formed by carrying out radio-frequency sputtering by use of a target formed of a rare earth metal material and direct current sputtering by use of a target formed of a transition metal material.

摘要: A method of making a magneto-optical recording medium comprises the steps of moving a rotating substrate along a first dielectric target, at least one rare earth metal target, and a second dielectric target which are disposed in this order from an upstream side toward the downstream side in an in-line sputtering apparatus, and carrying out simultaneous sputtering on the substrate in the course of the movement of the substrate by use of the first dielectric target and the rare earth metal target. Thereafter, sputtering is carried out on the substrate by use of the rare earth metal target. Then, simultaneous sputtering is carried out on the substrate by use of the rare earth metal target and the second dielectric target.

摘要: Disclosed is an electrically-operated fuel pump for pumping fuel such as gasoline, light oil and heavy oil, comprising a pump housing; a motor having a rotating shaft and encased centrally in the pump housing, the motor comprising a rotor formed by fixing a permanent magnet to the rotating shaft thereof and a stator arranged around the rotor, the stator having plural windings of coils adapted to be sequentially excited to rotate the rotor; a pump section encased in the pump housing below the motor and operatively connected to the rotating shaft of the motor; and an electric circuit package made of an oil-resistant and water-resistant material and incorporated in the pump housing above the motor, the electric circuit package oil-tightly incorporating a plurality of rotor position detecting devices for detecting an angular position of the rotor, wherein a portion of the electric circuit package facing to the rotor is made of a paramagnetic material.

摘要: An air-fuel mixture supplying device for internal combustion engines, in which sonic nozzles are disposed facing each other in such a manner that their center lines lie in the same horizontal and vertical planes so that the fuel ejected from the nozzle is pulverized and mixed with bleed air ejected from the opposing nozzle in optimum condition. During intermittent ejection of fuel, two injector valves inject fuel alternately so that the fuel particles ejected from the opposing nozzles do not collide with each other but only strike against and mix with the bleed air. This eliminates the possibility of fuel particles becoming agglomerated and produces desirable air-fuel mixtures.

摘要: An electrostatic image is formed on a rotating photoconductive drum and developed a number of times to form toner images which are transferred to respective copy sheets. The drum is rotated at a first speed for exposure and development of the first toner image and thereafter at a second higher speed for development of the subsequent toner images. A magnetic brush applies the toner substance to the drum, and is rotated at a third speed when the drum is rotated at the first speed and at a fourth speed which is higher than the third speed when the drum is rotated at the second speed, thereby applying more toner substance to the drum at the higher speed and maintaining the copy density constant. Alternatively or in combination, a bias voltage applied to the magnetic brush may be reduced at the higher drum speed, also resulting in the application of more toner substance to the drum.
