    摘要: A ballpoint pen body 1 has a convex portion 4 integrally formed on the outer surface 1a thereof, and a pair of shaft bodies 4a are formed on the convex portion 4. Receiving holes 5e are formed in a clip body 5 between the ball portion 5a and the operation portion 5b. With the shaft bodies 4a being received in the receiving holes 5e, the clip body 5 and the ballpoint pen body 1 are swingably coupled to each other. The receiving holes 5e are sized to be larger than the shaft bodies 4a, and the clip body 5 is allowed to move relative to the ballpoint pen body 1 being coupled to the ballpoint pen body 1. A leaf spring 6 is provided to urge the clip body 5 toward the ballpoint pen body 1.

    摘要: A developing apparatus includes a developer carrier carrying a developer on its surface, a developer regulating member regulating layer thickness of the developer, a charge amount control member controlling the charge amount of the developer and a charge supplying apparatus downstream of the charge amount control member. The charge amount control member controls the amount of charges of the developer, by causing the developer fly over the developer carrier, using an AC voltage applied between the developer carrier and the charge amount control member, and by applying the electric charges generated by gas electrolytic dissociation caused by the AC voltage. By this structure, a developing apparatus can be provided which can improve stability of development and image quality, without necessitating delicate arrangement of the component materials of the developer.

    摘要: In a free-ink type low-viscosity water-based ball point pen, the low viscosity water based ink 17 contains 40% or more of water as a main solvent and has a viscosity of 1.5 cps to 60 cps at a normal temperature. A collector 6 has a slender, slit-like ink groove 16 and an air vent groove 14. In a zone covering from a collector air-venting portion 15 to an outside air with which the collector air-venting portion 15 is communicated the collector 6 has a mouth piece 5 having provided therein the thin and elongate air vent groove 14. The maximum amount of ink stored in the collector 6 is made 15% or more of the capacity of an ink tank 9. The ink tank 9 is made detachable and has its main body formed of transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin, the main body therefore enabling a residual amount of ink 17 to be visually recognizable from outside.

    摘要: A clicking-type writing implement includes a writing element having a writing portion at its distal end, a spring for urging the writing element toward the end, and a clicking rod loosely fitted interlocked with the writing element so as to project from a barrel cylinder. Upon depression of the clicking rod, the engaging rib of a rotor in the barrel cylinder and the engaging bead in the inner cylinder engage with each other, so that the writing element projects and stays projected from a front portion of the barrel cylinder. This clicking-type writing implement also has a so-called double clicking mechanism and a safety mechanism. According to the double clicking mechanism, the clicking rod is projected upon depression and is retracted upon further depression. According to the safety mechanism, when the engaging bead and the engaging rib engage with each other, the projecting state of the writing portion of the writing element is maintained, and when the engaging bead is lifted, the writing element is retracted. No cam surfaces are formed on the inner surface of the barrel cylinder. In the inner cylinder, a cam is formed on the front edge of a cylindrical portion inserted and fixed in the barrel cylinder.

    摘要: A ballpoint pen for use with ink having thixotropic (shear viscosity decreasing properties) and a joint for regulating the flow of the ink to the pen's tip through an entrance in the tip. The joint includes a valve chamber which is disposed in an approximately middle portion of the joint with respect to the axial direction thereof for holding a ball therein with play and has a ball seat in the rear part thereof, a cavity in front of the valve chamber and a conduit communicating with an ink reservoir. In this arrangement, in order to allow the ball to fit on the ball seat to prevent ink from flowing backward when the ballpoint pen is oriented upward and in order to ensure an ink flow when oriented downward, the joint portion is constructed such that an axis of path holding the ball valve with play, defined by the top surfaces of the ribs formed on the peripheral wall of the valve chamber, is made eccentric to the axis of the entrance and a channel is provided by the ribs on one side of the valve chamber space for the ink to flow therethrough.
