Abstract:
A ballpoint dot pen tattoo cartridge includes a ballpoint pen element comprising an ink reservoir housed within a tapered bottom barrel providing a first barrel aperture and flanged top surface. A second barrel aperture in cylindrical top of the barrel includes a diameter larger than the first aperture with an assembly to attach the barrel cylindrical top to a tattoo machine. A resilient element within the barrel is sized to receive the ballpoint pen element between the first barrel aperture flanged top surface and two equal sized tabs on the ballpoint pen providing exit and retraction of the ballpoint pen assembly for ink discharge from the cartridge barrel tapered bottom whereby a tattoo machine operator controls the driving actuation of the tattoo machine to the ballpoint pen tip for controlling inked markings of a material.

Abstract:
A refillable free ink writing instrument including a body having a rear end, a front end and an ink reservoir disposed between the rear end and the front end, a writing tip mounted on the front end and a plug mounted on the rear end, wherein the plug is configured to close an opening in fluid communication with the ink reservoir, the plug being configured to be removable from the rear end to refill the ink reservoir with water and concentrated ink refill.
Abstract:
An ink composition contains a carbon black and/or an organic pigment, water, a polysaccharide, two or more of diols, and particles of an acrylic resin. The two or more of diols include a first diol having from 5 to 7 carbon atoms and a second diol having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and a content of the first diol in the ink composition is 0.05 wt % or more.
Abstract:
An ink reservoir unit for a writing instruments using an ink reservoir tube with which low contamination can be achieved considering environmental problems; and a writing instruments using the same. The ink reservoir tube is composed of a composite material in which a raw material is layered on a paper substrate having paper as a substrate. One end section of the ink reservoir tube is coupled to a connection part formed on a writing member or a relay member that holds the writing member to constitute the ink reservoir unit for a writing instrument. In one preferred aspect, a locking device using a male thread formed on an outer peripheral surface is provided to the connection part to be connected to the ink reservoir tube, and the ink reservoir tube is coupled to the relay member that holds the writing member by the locking device.
Abstract:
[Problems] An object of the present invention is to provide: a thermochromic color-memory composition which effectively expresses a property of being able to interchangeably memorize and retain colors and which is thus applicable to various fields;and a thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same.[Solution] Provided is a thermochromic color-memory composition including: (a) an electron-donating color-developing organic compound; (b) an electron-accepting compound; and (c) an ester compound represented by the following Formula (1), as a reaction medium which controls color reaction between the component (a) and the component (b): (wherein, R represents an alkyl group having 3 to 18 carbon atoms, a cycloalkylalkyl group having 6 to 11 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group having 5 to 7 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 3 to 18 carbon atoms; each X independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; and each Y independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a methoxy group, an ethoxy group or a halogen atom).
Abstract:
An angle-adjustable, gravity flow ink refill and pen, each comprising of at least one bendable portion along its length. The bendable portion acts as a concertina-type hinge to allow both the pen and refill to bend to an angle and maintain the bend imparted to it. In a preferred embodiment, the refill is flexible in structure (full or partial) and the pen having a crimped corrugated bendable portion. In an alternate embodiment, intertwined helical wires form the bendable portion for the pen, the refill or both to maintain the angle bent. Alternatively a flexible gooseneck tube is used for the bendable portion of the pen. The pen writes normally on flat surfaces and on inclined surfaces, the rear end of the pen is bent forward such that the rear is pointed upwards towards the sky. This allows ink to flow towards the tip via gravity and facilitate consistent delivery of ink at multiple writing angles.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to thermochromic micro particles capable of stably implementing a high chromogenic property and a decolorization property and having an improved erasing property, thermal resistance, and chemical resistance, and a thermochromic ink composition, a writing apparatus, and a smart window using the same. The thermochromic micro particles comprise a core part including a phase change material, a dye, and a developer, the phase change material including at least one selected from the group consisting of at least one chain hydrocarbon having a carbon number of 8 or more, a hydrated inorganic salt, alcohol having a carbon number of 3 or more, and polyalkyleneglycol; and a shell layer including a polymer resin.
Abstract:
A telescoping writing implement that retracts the writing point when in the collapsed position. An external pen body is mechanically connected to a writing cartridge through at least one aperture in a guide tube. Movement of the external pen body downward draws the writing cartridge down inside the guide tube until the writing end of the writing cartridge is exposed and the connecting means such as a clip, screw or pin contacts the lower edge of the aperture. When the outer pen body is moved upward, it draws the writing cartridge with it inside the guide tube until the writing end is protected inside the guide tube. The limits of travel are governed by the dimensions of the aperture when the connecting means contacts the edge of the aperture. Additional elements may include an upper pen body, a pocket retainer clip and internal position detents.
