Abstract: It is provided a method, comprising determining a respective elevation of each of plural beams from an access point based on stored configuration data, wherein each of the plural beams is identified by a respective identification included in an indication comprising the identification of the respective beam and an information on a respective received beam power, and the indication is received from a terminal; selecting a first beam and a second beam among the plural beams such that the elevation of the first beam is different from the elevation of the second beam; retrieving, from the stored configuration data, a transmit power of the first beam and a transmit power of the second beam; estimating an estimated elevation of a line connecting the access point and the terminal based on the received beam powers, the transmit powers, and the elevations.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparatuses, methods, and computer readable storage media for isolation enforcement for delivery of sidelink positioning protocol (SLPP) messages. In the methods, a first apparatus receives, from a second apparatus, a request comprising a first indication that is to be indicated to a third apparatus. The first apparatus and the second apparatus are involved in a sidelink positioning process. Then, the first apparatus transmits the first indication to the third apparatus. Furthermore, the first apparatus transmits, to the second apparatus, information at least indicating reachability between the first apparatus and the third apparatus based on monitoring of feedback information associated with the first indication from the third apparatus. Thereby, the proposed methods can advantageously support the delivery of SLPP messages to out-of-reach devices.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses, and computer readable medium for positioning enhancement mechanism. A first device determines that a third device is to transmit a positioning related message in a non-connected state. The first device transmits assistance information to a second device serving the third device. The assistance information comprises at least one of data size and a transmission periodicity for the positioning related message. By means of the assistance information, the base stations are provided with proactive knowledge of the positioning related message. In this way, the base station is capable of determining appropriate configurations for the SDT procedure. The terminal device may then transmit the positioning related message in the RRC NON-CONNECTED state via the SDT. As such, the efficiency of SDT procedure can be improved, while avoiding segmentation or subsequent transmission of the positioning report.
