Abstract: The present disclosure provides a roller-press apparatus, which comprises: an unwinding mechanism around which an electrode plate to be rolled is wound, the electrode plate has a foil and a coating layer, the foil has at least a coated area and a blank foil area, the foil is provided with the coating layer at the coated area and is not provided with the coating layer at the blank foil area; a rolling mechanism; and a stretching mechanism. Abstract: A method of edge sealing for a secondary lithium battery, including: (1) drawing a 3D model of a battery edge of a secondary lithium battery, and inputting it into a 3D printer; (2) positioning the secondary lithium battery in a 3D printing area, and fixing a relative position of the secondary lithium battery in the 3D printing area; (3) stimulating, by the 3D printer, the battery edge according to the 3D model and setting a printing path; (4) adding edge sealing glue in a printing head of the 3D printer, the printing head moves according to the set printing path and meantime performs at least one time of printing, so that printed edge sealing glue covers the battery edge; (5) solidifying the edge sealing glue. The method of edge sealing of this application has broader application, which can be applied to batteries of any shape.

The laser removing system comprises: at least one laser emitting head for emitting a laser beam and projecting the laser beam onto the coating layer on the corresponding surface of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed and which is wetted by the wetting mechanism to make the solvent which wets the coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed vaporized, so as to remove the coating layer on the surface of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed and in turn expose the current collector on the surface of the electrode plate corresponding to the region where the coating layer will be removed.
