摘要: A technique includes transmitting a request for the delivery of multicast data; receiving the multicast data via a unicast data radio bearer or a multicast data radio bearer, wherein the user device is located in a first cell; receiving, by the user device from the base station, a connection suspend message, wherein the connection suspend message includes: information describing a radio access network (RAN) multicast area (RMA) for the delivery of the multicast data via a multicast data radio bearer, and a group identifier associated with the multicast data, wherein the RMA includes a list of one or more cells that has been updated by the base station to include the first cell where the user device is located; entering, by the user device, a low activity state in response to the connection suspend message; and, receiving, by the user device, the multicast data via the multicast data radio bearer.

摘要: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to configuration and interpretation of control information for a retransmission. A first device receives control information from a second device. In accordance with a determination that the control information indicates a retransmission to be scheduled from the second device. the first device determines an information combination of at least one of the following: at least one field of the control information, a search space in which the control information is received. and a format of the control information. The first device further determines a source traffic type of the retransmission based on the information combination, the source traffic type of the retransmission indicating whether the retransmission is for traffic in a point-to-multipoint initial transmission or in a point-to-point initial transmission.

摘要: Disclosed is a method comprising receiving, from a distributed unit, an indication for assisting in determining a reconfiguration having an effect on at least one radio bearer for providing a multicast communication service or a broadcast communication service to at least one terminal device, the at least one radio bearer comprising at least a point-to-point leg for providing said service; and transmitting, to the at least one terminal device, a message indicative of the reconfiguration.

摘要: A method comprising: receiving information from a Session Management Function; determining, from the information, to transmit to a Radio Access Network node at least one of a message and an information element, the at least one of the message and the information element comprising a sequence number of a last transmitted (or next to be transmitted) user plane Protocol Data Unit carrying a valid user plane payload of a Quality of Service Flow of a Multicast and Broadcast Services multicast session; and transmitting at least one of the message and the information element to the Radio Access Network node while no downlink multicast packet in the Multicast and Broadcast Services multicast session is available for transmission to the Radio access Network node.

摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for restoration of multicast/broadcast service upon multicast/broadcast user plane function failure without restart are provided. For example, a method may include detecting non-functionality of a first multicast/broadcast user plane function that was supporting a packet forwarding control protocol session context for a multicast/broadcast session. The method may also include reselecting a second multicast/broadcast user plane function. The method may further include recreating a packet forwarding control protocol session context in the second multicast/broadcast user plane function for said multicast/broadcast session. The method may additionally include receiving new addressing information for the delivery of said multicast/broadcast session data from said second multicast/broadcast user plane function. The method may also include updating a network element with the new addressing information.

摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for multicast-broadcast service (MBS) deactivation and/or activation are provided. One method may include receiving, at a multicast-broadcast session management entity, a multicast-broadcast service (MBS) session setup message, from at least one management entity, comprising at least one of an identifier of at least one network node requesting setup of the multicast-broadcast service (MBS) session and an identifier of the at least one management entity. The method may also include storing, at the multicast-broadcast management entity, at least one of the identifier of the at least one network node, the identifier of the at least one management entity, or an identifier of a region of the at least one management entity.
