摘要: A system comprising: a plurality of base stations forming a multicast broadcast single frequency network operating using unlicensed frequency resources; and a network element configured to allocate a transmission period to each of the plurality of base stations, wherein each base station is configured to independently determine whether the unlicensed frequency resources are available for transmission, and transmit a data packet using the unlicensed frequency resources during the allocated transmission period only if the unlicensed frequency resources are determined to be available.

摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products of preamble sequence management for contention based access are provided. One method may include a user equipment sending a contention based access (CBA) request message, such as a random access procedure (RACH) message, to a network node (e.g., a base station or eNB). The CBA request message may include an indication that the user equipment wants to obtain a preamble for CBA data transmission and is not for full network access. The method may then include receiving an allocation of a preamble for CBA from the network node.

The method may include determining correlation values between a first sequence of samples and at least one pre-defined sequence, detecting whether at least one first peak exists by comparing the correlation values with at least one first detection threshold. If the at least one first peak exists, the method may further include performing summing of at least a subset of the correlation values and detecting whether at least one second peak exists by comparing the summed correlation values with a second detection threshold.
