Abstract: A hearing aid with a housing holding a microphone, a battery, a programmable signal processing device capable of delivering an output signal is provided whereby the output signal drives an output transducer of the hearing aid to serve a stimulus on the hearing aid user perceivable as sound. The hearing aid housing further holds a socket adapted for receiving a programming connection in order to connect the programmable signal processing device to an external programming device, and a switch adapted to be operated by the hearing aid user, and a cover arranged above the socket and switch and pivotally linked to the hearing aid. Preferably an intermediate link is provided and adapted to interlink the hearing aid with the cover.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic module for a hearing device. The electronic module comprises at least one electronic component for a hearing device and an embedding material covering the electronic component. The electronic component comprises at least one restricted area which is free from the embedding material. The restricted area is surrounded at least partially by a zone and the zone is covered by an attaching material. The attaching material covering the zone has a mold part formed by molding and freely formed edge facing the restricted area.

Abstract: An earpiece configured to be worn in an ear canal of a user is disclosed. Abstract: The application relates to a hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, comprising a first part for being inserted in an ear canal or fully or partially implanted in the head of a user, the first part comprising at least one electrode unit, termed a PR-electrode unit, for making contact to skin or tissue of a user when mounted or implanted in an operational condition, the at least one PR-electrode unit being configured to pick up a physiological response from the user, and wherein the at least one PR-electrode unit comprises an electrically conductive material, e.g. a shape memory alloy. The first part may comprise an implanted part, e.g. in combination with an external part adapted for being located in an ear canal, wherein both parts comprise one or more PR-electrode units. Abstract: The application relates to a hearing device configured to be placed in the ear canal of a user, the hearing device comprising a forward path adapted for processing an input sound and providing an output sound representative of the input sound, the hearing device comprising an assembly comprising first and second modules adapted for being in mechanical contact with each other when the hearing device is operationally assembled to form a functional unit. The object of the present application is to provide a user friendly hearing device adapted for being located in an ear canal of the user. The problem is solved in that the first module comprises a power supply unit, and the second module comprises an input unit, a signal processing unit and an output unit in operational connection, wherein the first and second modules are configured to provide that the first and second modules are reversibly attachable to and detachable from each other; and the first and second modules are electrically connected to provide that units of the second module are energized by the battery of the first module, when the first and second modules are operationally assembled. This has the advantage of providing relatively simple and easy to use hearing device. The invention may e.g. be used for hearing aids, in particular extended wear hearing aids adapted for being located deep in the ear canal of a user.
