    Abstract: An information communication method that enables communication between various devices includes: determining a pattern of a change in luminance; transmitting a signal by a light emitter changing in luminance; determining a sequence of first and second image units; and displaying an image including the first and second image units arranged according to the determined sequence, wherein in the displaying: for 0, the sequence of the first and second image units is determined so that a first image unit group and a second image unit group that have a same number of image units as each other are consecutive; and for 1, the sequence of the first and second image units is determined so that a first image unit group and a second image unit group that have different numbers of image units from each other are consecutive.

    Abstract: A position estimation device including: a provisional position setting unit which sets current position information indicating an estimated current position of a wireless terminal; a distance estimation unit which estimates, using receiving strengths of signals received from plural wireless stations, distance information indicating distances from the plural wireless stations to the wireless terminal; a possible area calculation unit which calculates, using the distance information and map information indicating a spatial structure, an area in the spatial structure which can maintain the distances indicated in the distance information, as a possible area in the spatial structure in which the wireless terminal is likely to be present; and a correction unit which corrects the current position indicated in the current position information to a position within the possible area when the current position is outside the possible area.

    Abstract: An information communication device includes an exposure time setter that sets an exposure time of an image sensor so that a bright line corresponding to an exposure line included in the image sensor appears according to a change in luminance of the light emitter. A first information obtainer obtains first information by demodulating data specified by a pattern of the bright line included in the obtained bright line image and a second information obtainer obtains second information by capturing a plurality of light emitting elements, each of which emits light with one of two different luminance values, and demodulating data specified by a light and dark sequence of luminance along a direction substantially parallel to the exposure line.
