    Abstract: A charging case for an aerosol-generating device, the charging case including a case connector for receiving electrical power from an external source, a plurality of case cavities, a mounting section for connecting the aerosol-generating device to the charging case, and a case control unit. Each of the plurality of case cavities being configured to receive at least one of a plurality of power sources. The case control unit arranged to charge a first one of the plurality of power sources via the case connector using electrical power from the external power source and charge the aerosol-generating device connected to the mounting section via a second one of the plurality of power sources, or via the case connector using electrical power from the external power source.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an aerosol-generating device comprising a main body and a top cover. The top cover comprising a cavity for removable insertion of an aerosol-generating article comprising aerosol-forming substrate. The aerosol-generating device further comprises a heater in the cavity. The top cover is configured as movable with respect to the main body between a first position and a second position. The cavity is accessible for insertion of the aerosol-generating article when the top cover is in the first position. The cavity is inaccessible for insertion of the aerosol-generating article when the top cover is in the second position. Movement of the top cover between the first and second position is caused by one or more of pivotal movement around, or transversal, to a longitudinal axis of the aerosol-generating device and sliding movement transversal to the longitudinal axis of the aerosol-generating device. The invention also relates to a system comprising an aerosol-generating device and an aerosol-generating article.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an inspection station for crimped sheet material. The station comprises a light source to illuminate crimped sheet material in an inspection location, a vibrating device to vibrate crimped sheet material in the inspection location. The vibrating device comprises a vibrating element, wherein crimped sheet material is guidable along or over the vibrating element for the crimped sheet material to be vibrated by the vibrating element.
