    Abstract: There is provided a pixel circuit for performing analog operation including a photodiode, a first temporal circuit, a second temporal circuit and an operation circuit. Within a first interval, the photodiode detects first light energy to be stored in the first temporal circuit. Within a second interval, the photodiode detects second light energy to be stored in the second temporal circuit. Within an operation interval, the first temporal circuit outputs a first detection signal having a first pulse width according to the first light energy and outputs a second detection signal having a second pulse width according to the second light energy for being calculated by the operation circuit.

    Abstract: A method and node for processing messages within an Internet of Things (IoT) network and network packet thereof are provided. Multiple fields of a header of a network packet broadcasted over the IoT network are referred to in the method. When a node receives a network packet broadcasted over the IOT network, it checks if the node's ID is recorded in an ID field of the network packet. The node ID is added to the network packet if the network packet does not record the node ID, and the network packet is then broadcasted to the IOT network; otherwise, the network packet is not broadcasted if the node ID has been recorded in the ID field. The node also performs a function indicated in a function field of the network packet when the node ID is not recorded in the network packet.

    Abstract: A sensor device, an automated transportation system and an operating method for the same are provided. The sensor device essentially includes a thermal sensor array for capturing a two-dimensional thermographic image within a sensing zone and a processing circuit for processing the image so as to obtain a thermal distribution within the sensing zone. The sensing zone is such as a cage of the automated transportation system. The thermal distribution depicts a distribution of one or more thermal sources for determining a status of the sensing zone. For example, the status is capable of indicating a number of people within the sensing zone and a personal status. Therefore, the automated transportation system is driven to operate the cage in response to a control signal that is generated according to a scenario responsive to the status.
