Abstract: A positive electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries according to the present invention is provided with a positive electrode collector and a positive electrode mixture layer that is formed on the surface of the positive electrode collector. The positive electrode mixture layer contains at least carbon fibers and a positive electrode active material that contains a lithium transition metal composite oxide; and the lithium transition metal composite oxide has a layered rock salt structure, while containing at least Ni, Al and Ca, but not substantially containing Co.

Abstract: This positive electrode for secondary batteries is provided with a positive electrode collector and a positive electrode mixture layer that is arranged on the positive electrode collector. The positive electrode mixture layer contains a positive electrode active material that contains a lithium-transition metal composite oxide and carbon fibers each having an outermost peripheral diameter of 20 nm or less; the lithium-transition metal composite oxide contains 80% by mole or more of Ni relative to the total number of moles of metal elements excluding Li; an alkaline earth metal element is present on the particle surfaces of the oxide; and the content of the carbon fibers relative to the total amount of the positive electrode active material is from 0.01% by mass to 1.0% by mass.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes: an anode body; a dielectric layer; a first conductive polymer layer; a second conductive polymer layer; and a first intermediate layer. The dielectric layer is formed on the anode body. The first conductive polymer layer covers at least a part of the dielectric layer. The second conductive polymer layer covers at least a part of the first conductive polymer layer. The first intermediate layer is formed between the first conductive polymer layer and the second conductive polymer layer. The first intermediate layer includes both a cationic agent and an anionic agent, and the first intermediate layer has a first region and a second region, the first region facing the first conductive polymer layer, the second region facing the second conductive polymer layer. The first region contains a greater amount of the anionic agent than the second region, and the second region contains a greater amount of the cationic agent than the first region.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor including: an anode body; a dielectric layer formed over the anode body; a first conductive polymeric layer covering at least one portion of the dielectric layer; a second conductive polymeric layer covering at least one portion of the first conductive polymeric layer; and an intermediate layer formed between the first conductive polymeric layer and the second conductive polymeric layer. The intermediate layer includes a cation agent containing at least one cationic group, and an anion agent containing at least one first anionic group and at least one second anionic group, and the first anionic group is higher in electron-withdrawing property than the second anionic group. The anion agent includes a polymer containing the first anionic group and the second anionic group.

The second conductive polymer layer includes a second conductive polymer and a water-soluble polymer. The water-soluble polymer is a copolymer including a hydrophilic monomer unit having a hydrophilic group. The hydrophilic group is at least one group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, an acid anhydride group, a phenolic hydroxyl group, and a C2-3 alkylene oxide group.
