Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information associated with identifying a first transmit power for a first carrier in a band and a second transmit power for a second carrier in the band, wherein the first transmit power and the second transmit power exceed a per-carrier group power threshold. The UE may transmit at least one of a first communication using a first scaled transmit power or a second communication using a second scaled transmit power, wherein at least one of the first transmit power or the second transmit power is scaled to form the first scaled transmit power or the second scaled transmit power in connection with the per-carrier group power threshold. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may support two or more uplink switching periods for transmit chain switching. The UE may transmit a UE capability message indicating the UE capability to support a first uplink switching period and a second uplink switching period for transmit chain switching. The first uplink switching period and the second uplink switching period may each correspond to different switching periods associated with configuration switches between different transmit chain configurations of the UE. The UE and a base station may select an uplink switching period from among the first uplink switching period and the second uplink switching period. The UE may transmit an uplink data message to the base station after a preparation time that is based on the uplink switching period.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to energy headroom report (EHR) and sustainable duty cycle (SDC) reporting for dynamic power aggregation. The UE may further transmit, to a network entity, a report including the available energy or available time period for uplink transmission. In another example, a network entity may transmit a configuration message to configure the UE with carrier aggregation or dual connectivity. The network entity may further receive a report including the available energy or time for uplink transmission via carrier aggregation or dual connectivity. The network entity may further adjust uplink communication with the UE based on the received report.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can report direct current (DC) subcarrier location information for a subset of possible combinations of bandwidth parts and component carriers supported by a base station. In one aspect, the UE can receive, from a scheduling entity, a message for activating a first combination of bandwidth parts (BWPs) and component carriers (CCs) in a list including a subset of combinations of BWPs and CCs configured for the UE. The UE can report direct current subcarrier location information for the first combination of BWPs and CCs to the scheduling entity.

Abstract: A UE transmits UE capability information to a first base station on a first carrier. Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting, to a base station, an uplink capability message indicating a coherent uplink multiple-in-multiple-out (MIMO) capability associated with coherent transmission characteristics. The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a switch parameter that configures the UE for a transmission chain switch. The method further includes receiving, from the base station, a switching message that triggers the transmission chain switch between a reference signal (RS) transmission and a scheduled data communication. The method still further includes transmitting the data communication according to one or more non-coherent transmission characteristics based on the transmission chain switch being triggered between the RS transmission and the scheduled data communication.
