    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for handover of transport blocks (TBs) for network coding are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a user equipment (UE), a transport block (TB) associated with a networking coding request. The example method may further include transmitting, based on at least one of first movement information of the UE, second movement information of one or more recipients of the TB, or a TB load of the first network coding device being above a threshold, a handover request message to a network entity for handover of the TB to a second network coding device. The handover request message may be for a handover of the TB to a second network coding device.

    Abstract: According to a first method, a first user equipment (UE) may receive sidelink control information (SCI) over a sidelink communication link between the first UE and a second UE. The SCI may indicate a precoding resource block group (PRG) size associated with sidelink communications with the second UE. The first UE may determine the PRG size for communications over the sidelink communication link based at least in part on the SCI. The first UE may then receive a sidelink message from the second UE via the sidelink communication link based on the determined PRG size, and may transmit a sidelink message to the second UE based on the determined PRG size. According to a second method, a first user equipment may identify a sidelink configuration for a sidelink communication link between the first UE and a second UE, determine a PRG size for communications over the sidelink communication link based at least in part on the sidelink configuration, and receive, from the second UE, a sidelink message based at least in part on the PRG size.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for delaying accept request messages for sidelink network coded communication. A network coding device can receive from a transmitting wireless communication device a sidelink transmission including a packet and a network coding request flag requesting the network coding device perform retransmission(s) of the packet. The network coding device can then receive feedback information for the first packet from a receiving wireless communication device that received the packet at a first time. In addition, the network coding device can transmit an accept request message to the transmitting device indicating whether the network coding device accepts performing retransmission(s) of the packet at a second time different than the first time.

    Abstract: An encoding device transmits an indication for a plurality of user equipments (UEs) to provide feedback for a network coding packet across multiple time periods. The encoding device transmits the network coding packet; and receives the feedback from the plurality of UEs across the multiple time periods. A UE receives an indication to provide feedback for a network coding packet that is staggered in a different time period than a baseline time period. The UE receives the network coding packet and transmits the feedback in one time period among multiple time periods associated with the network coding packet.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines a set of resources for transmission of one or more sidelink PRSs. The first UE transmits a sidelink control message to reserve the set of resources for the transmission of the one or more sidelink PRSs. In another aspect, the second UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may (e.g., transmit and/or receive/measure) the one or more PRSs in accordance with the sidelink control message. In another aspect, a third UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may determine whether a transmission by the third UE on some or all of the set of resources is permitted based on the sidelink control message.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to mechanisms for measuring the interference on the sidelink for use in calculating the channel quality indicator (CQI) in channel state information (CSI) reporting. Channel state information-interference measurement (CSI-IM) resources on which a sidelink device may measure the interference may be located outside of a bandwidth allocated for the transmission of a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) and/or inside of the allocated bandwidth. The sidelink device may measure respective interference values on one or more CSI-IM resources, identify one or more CQI(s) based on the measured interference value(s) and transmit one or more CSI reports including the one or more CQIs to another sidelink device.
