    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for processing multi-layer transmissions simultaneously received from multiple network entities. An example method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes obtaining a first channel matrix for spatially processing multi-layer transmissions from a first network entity received via a first antenna panel at the UE; obtaining a second channel matrix for spatially processing multi-layer transmissions from a second network entity received via a second antenna panel at the UE; and spatially processing one or more multi-layer transmissions from the first and second network entities simultaneously received via the first and second antenna panels at the UE, based on a third channel matrix including entries of the first channel matrix and entries of the second channel matrix.

    Abstract: Methods related to wireless communication systems and scheduling channel state information operations and transmissions. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a channel state information (CSI) computation request. The UE then identifies a first CSI measurement resource based on the CSI computation request. The UE determines CSI based on the first CSI measurement resource, and receives, from the BS, a CSI report transmission request associated with the first CSI measurement resource. The UE optionally transmits to the BS a CSI report based on the first CSI measurement resource or a different CSI measurement resource. Other features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: In order to enable a UE receiving a narrowband signal transmitted using in-band resources to use the LTE reference signals to assist the UE in receiving the narrowband signal using an in-band deployment, a phase rotation employed by the base station may be fixed relative to a known reference position in time. An apparatus for wireless communication at a base station may determine a phase offset for a narrowband signal for transmission using wideband resources, the phase offset having a relationship to a reference point in time and transmit the narrowband signal using the determined phase offset. An apparatus for wireless communication at a UE may receive a narrowband signal having a frequency location within a wideband signal and rotate a symbol of the wideband signal by a per symbol phase offset having a relationship of the phase offset to a reference point in time.
