In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a synchronization signal block (SSB) burst set that includes a plurality of SSBs, a majority of the SSBs in the SSB burst set having an SSB symbol and a corresponding physical broadcast channel (PBCH) symbol that is located a fixed number of symbols from the SSB symbol. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a random access message including a preamble and a payload. A base station may detect the preamble of the random access message. The base station, and may fail or succeed to decode the payload of the random access message. The base station may transmit, based at least in part on detecting the preamble and the different decoding outcome for the payload, a random access response. The random access response may include an uplink group grant and an indication for a type of the uplink group grant for a plurality of UEs whose preamble transmission share the same time and frequency occasion. UEs may monitor the type and the contents of the uplink group grant and transmit data subsequently on a set of shared time frequency resources. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Wireless devices can use various super-slot formats to facilitate wireless communication using half duplex (HD) frequency-division duplex (FDD) (HD-FDD). A super-slot has a duration that can span over multiple slots and/or subframes. A super-slot can include uplink symbols and downlink symbols. The super-slot can include a guard period that separates uplink symbols from downlink symbols in the same super-slot. A super-slot can support signal repetition to provide coverage enhancement. Signal repetition can be combined with frequency hopping in a super-slot to provide diversity gain.

Abstract: A random access configuration information based on a reference SCS may allow for a unified coordinate system used by the base station and UEs that describes the time-frequency resource configuration for a two-step RACH procedure. The apparatus receives, from a base station, random access configuration information for the base station. The apparatus determines a first time duration for a preamble of a first random access message based on the random access configuration information received from the base station and a reference SCS associated with an uplink BWP configured for the first random access message. The apparatus determines a second time duration for a payload of the first random access message based on the random access configuration information received from the base station and the reference SCS. The apparatus transmits the first message to the base station to initiate a random access procedure.
