摘要: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE transmits, to a network entity, a buffer status reporting (BSR) in response to a BSR triggering condition from multiple BSR triggering conditions being met. Each of the multiple BSR triggering conditions is associated with a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) set including a group of PDUs. The UE further communicates with the network entity based on the BSR. The method provides multiple BSR triggering conditions based on various scenarios in data transmission. It allows the BSR information to be readily available to the network and enables an efficient resource allocation.

The UE may discard, before an expiration of a reordering timer, the received packet based at least in part on the determination of whether the received packet satisfies the one or more reordering criteria. 摘要: Wireless communication systems and methods related to Radio Link Control (RLC) status reporting are provided. A wireless communication device receives one or more radio link control (RLC) packet data units (PDUs) of a sequence of RLC PDUs. The wireless communication device determines missing RLC data PDUs in the sequence of RLC PDUs based on the received one or more RLC PDUs. The wireless communication device receives a first uplink (UL) grant. The wireless communication device transmits a first RLC status report including an indication of a first subset of the missing RLC PDUs less than all the missing RLC PDUs, the indication of the first subset of missing PDUs being based on a size of the first UL grant. The wireless communication device modifies a RLC status prohibit timer based on the transmitted first RLC status report indicating less than all the missing RLC PDUs.

In some aspects, a user equipment receives a synchronization acknowledgment message destined for a device tethered to the user equipment and transmitted by an application server at a network to which the user equipment is connected. 摘要: Embodiments include methods for managing a reordering timer performed by a processor of a wireless device. The processor may receive packets from a communication network and store the packets in a memory buffer of the wireless device. The processor may detect one or more conditions that affect an amount of time required to reorder or reassemble at least some of the packets received from the communication network. The processor may determine a timer adjustment based on the detected one or more conditions. The processor may adjust a timer with the determined timer adjustment. The processor may deliver one or more packets from the memory buffer in response to expiration of the adjusted timer.
