Abstract:
A vane ring assembly which includes a lower vane ring (22), an upper vane ring (30), one or more guide vanes (80) positioned at least partially between the vane rings, and a plurality of spacers (42, or 50) positioned between the lower and upper vane rings for maintaining a distance between the lower and upper vane rings. By using a first set of fasteners (190) to fasten the lower vane ring to the turbine housing, and a second set of fasteners (191) to fasten the lower vane ring to the upper vane ring, the vane ring assembly is effectively decoupled from the turbine housing with regard to differential thermal expansion, and the co-planerism of the vane rings is easier to maintain.
Abstract:
A retail merchandising display for stationery having a main display panel for the display of various types of stationery products that are arranged on the display according to color, design, theme, quality, price or a combination thereof for quick and easy location by a consumer. Each product may be placed into a category such as invitations or thank you cards and arranged within that category according to color, theme, design, price, or a combination thereof. Products may also be arranged across categories according to color, theme, design or price. Product packaging may be indicative of the product price pint and may further include color coding for quick identification of the product category. Color coordinated signage may also be used to further associate product types or categories.
Abstract:
Real-time condition-based analysis is performed on a machine for providing diagnostic and prognostic outputs indicative of machine status includes a signal processor for receiving signals from sensors adapted for measuring machine performance parameters. The signal processor conditions and shapes at least some of the received signals into an input form for a neural network. A fuzzy adaptive resonance theory neural network receives at least some of the conditioned and shaped signals, and detects and classifies a state of the machine based upon the received conditioned and shaped signals, and upon a predetermined ontology of machine states, diagnostics, and prognostics. The neural network can also determine from the machine state a health status thereof, which can comprise an anomaly, and output a signal representative of the determined health status. A Bayesian intelligence network receives the machine state from the neural network and determines a fault probability at a future time.
Abstract:
A landscape edging system and device, and methods of installation and use thereof, wherein a J-shaped track system is installed in a trench along landscape edges, and wherein a pulley wheel attached to a rod is utilized to push the grass down onto a cutting edge of the track to execute the edging process, thereby simplifying the task of edging, eliminating risk of personal injury and allowing for essentially silent lawn care at any hour of the day, wherein decorative outer coverings may be incorporated along the track edging to simulate landscape features, such as rock or brick, and wherein lighted tubing may be installed within the track, thereby enhancing visual nighttime display and illuminating the landscape edge for aesthetic as well as safety reasons.

Abstract:
A method for maintaining the activity of silicoaluminophosphate (SAPO) molecular sieve catalyst particles during oxygenate to olefin conversion reactions. After regeneration of SAPO catalyst particles, the regenerated particles are mixed with particles having coke on their surface in a manner that maintains their catalytic activity at a predetermined level.
Abstract:
A crystalline material substantially free of framework phosphorus and comprising a CHA framework type molecular sieve with stacking faults or at least one intergrown phase of a CHA framework type molecular sieve and an AEI framework type molecular sieve, wherein said material, in its calcined, anhydrous form, has a composition involving the molar relationship: (n)X2O3:YO2, wherein X is a trivalent element; Y is a tetravalent element; and n is from 0 to about 0.5. The material exhibits activity and selectivity in the conversion of methanol to lower olefins, especially ethylene and propylene.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus is herein disclosed for determining the motor performance of an electric motor through monitoring the temperature of rotor magnets. The temperature is determined by initially heating the rotor magnets to two known temperatures and subsequently recording the temperature at each known temperature. From the known and recorded temperatures, an offset, if any, is calculated. An actual temperature is then determined from the subsequent temperatures of the magnets and the offset. The actual temperature is then used as a basis to determine the motor performance.
Abstract:
The two-payload decoy device has a square outer case, containing a manifold/delay body assembly, a round payload assembly, and a square payload assembly. The square outer case is closed with an end cap. The manifold/delay body assembly is attached to the round payload assembly, which rests against the square payload assembly. Firing a standard impulse cartridge ignites a booster pellet and delay element in the manifold/delay body assembly. Gases flow through openings in the manifold/delay body assembly and down the corner cavities between the round payload assembly and the square case, pushing the square piston against the square payload, which separates the end cap from the case and ejects the square payload. The delay element burns for a specific time, and then ignites a round payload expulsion charge, which creates gases that push the round piston against the round payload, which dislodges a retaining ring, and ejects the round payload.
