The friction surface moves between a first contacting position and a second release position. A mechanism on the mandrel moves the friction surface between the first and second positions.

摘要： Improved methods are provided for the production of consistent quality combined and/or pH-adjusted ruminant feed products using commercial byproducts (e.g., wet distiller's grain products (WDG) and solubles syrup derived from ethanol production) of variable ingredient make-up and density. In a preferred method, continuous streams of WDG and solubles syrup (12, 13) are monitored to determine respective parameters related to the instantaneous mass of the materials therein such as instantaneous density or mass, and such parameters are used to at least in part control the proportions of the WDG and solubles syrup streams (12, 13) used to make a combined product. If desired, these same parameters may be used to adjust the pH of the WDG stream or the combined product.

摘要： A pair of garden shears is provided with a debris catcher that is attached to the back edge of each blade. Each debris catcher is transversely curved to extend over the blade and terminate in an upper edge that faces the upper edge of the other catcher. The catcher upper edges abut with one another to grip plant material therebetween and hold such plant material after it is cut by the blades. In addition, the transversely curved body of the catcher forms an upwardly facing, upwardly curved trough that is effective to catch small amounts of plant debris when the shears are being used in a vertically inclined position. The catchers are preferably molded from a plastic material and are flexible relative to one another to accommodate larger amounts of plant material.

摘要： A device and method for very rapidly and accurately tuning each string of a guitar by contacting the string perpendicularly in order to change the tension in the string. The device is located at a position between the bridge of the guitar and the end of the guitar string. A tensioning member consisting of a shaft and disk is located perpendicularly to each string. The disk has a string engagement means which contacts the string. The tensioning member is connected to a stepping motor. The stepping motor causes the tensioning member to displace axially. The vertical movement of the member causes the disk to contact the string perpendicularly and change the tension in the string, causing the string to become tuned.

The locking knob can be movable between an unlocked position wherein the rod is freely translatable along the first rod opening to locate the roller at different locations relative to the output member, and a lock position wherein the rod is fixed relative to the tool accessory housing.

摘要： A clamp arrangement for releasably securing an accessory to an oscillating power tool can include a tool body including a motor that drives an output member. A clamp assembly can include a first clamp member that moves relative to the accessory between a closed position wherein the clamp assembly retains the accessory and an open position wherein the first clamp member of the clamp assembly is offset from the accessory permitting removal of the accessory from the clamp assembly. A lever can have a user engagement portion and a pivot portion including a pivot axle. The lever can be pivotally coupled to the tool body about the pivot axle between a first position, wherein the clamp assembly is in the closed position and a second position wherein movement of the user engagement portion of the lever causes the clamp assembly to be moved to the open position.
