Abstract: A generator storage system for securing and transporting a generator includes a vehicle that has a back side. A mount is coupled to the back side of the vehicle and a cage is coupled to the mount. A lid is hingedly coupled to the cage such that the lid selectively closes the cage. A generator is provided and the generator is positioned in the cage for transporting the generator.

Abstract: Security in a mobile ad hoc network is maintained by using various forms of encryption, various encryption schemes, and various multi-phase keying techniques. In one configuration, an over the air, three-phase, re-keying technique is utilized to ensure that no authorized nodes are lost during re-keying and that nodes that are intended to be excluded from re-keying are excluded. In another configuration, an over the air, two-phase keying technique, is utilized to maintain backwards secrecy.

Abstract: An optical receptacle (100) includes an insulative housing (1), a pair of power contacts (2) and an optical fiber component (3) retained in the insulative housing (1). The insulative housing (1) have a body portion (11), a tongue portion (12) extending forwardly from the body portion (11), a pair of passageways (123) extending through insulative housing (1), and a receiving cavity (114) below the passageways (123). The body portion (11) has a pair of opposed front face (110) and rear face (111), and a pair of opposed upper face (112) and lower face (113). Each power contacts (2) has a contacting portion (21), a soldering portion (23) and a retaining portion (22) connecting with the contacting portion (21) and the soldering portion (23. The optical fiber component (3) is retained in the receiving cavity (114) and being exposed to exterior through the front face (110).

Abstract: There are provided methods of purifying a material, comprising melting solid material to form liquefied material, directionally solidifying a portion of the liquefied material; and removing a liquid remainder from the purified solidified material. Preferably, the purified solidified material is melted to form re-liquefied purified material, and re-liquefied purified material is removed. Preferably, the material is positioned in a container as it is being purified. The method is particularly useful for purifying elemental material, e.g., semiconductor material such as silicon and/or germanium, such as recycle scrap silicon and/or metallurgical grade silicon. There are also provided systems for carrying out such methods.
