    摘要: In a gas turbine combustion chamber (1) cooled by means of impingement cooling, the height of the cooling duct (5) formed by the perforated plate (3) and the impingement surface (4) increases continuously in the transverse flow direction to correspond with the supply of cooling air. Tubes (7) are arranged in the cooling duct (5) on the holes (6) of the perforated plate (3) in such a way that the impingement air meets the impingement surface (4) at right angles, the height of the tubes (7) increasing in the transverse flow direction in such a way that the distance between the tubes (7) and the impingement surface (4) is constant over the complete length of the cooling duct (5). By this means, the heat transfer coefficient remains constant along the impingement cooling section and uniform removal of heat is made possible. The cooling effect can be specifically controlled by a suitable choice of the diameter of the holes (6) and the height of the tubes (7).

A first end of the device is positioned within an adjacent upstream sleeve and a second end is sealingly retained within the discharge channel of the choke assembly. A flange coaxially retains the tubular member between the sleeve and a shoulder of the choke body. The trim insert is made of an erosion resistant material, such as tungsten carbide, hardened steel, or a ceramic. Additionally, the inner surface of the tubular member may be coated with a hardening compound to provide additional erosion resistance.

    摘要: A replaceable sleeve insert for a choke assembly is disclosed, wherein the replaceable sleeve insert has a tubular member coaxially and sealingly retained within an upper body section of the choke assembly. The tubular member is also sealed against the bonnet. The tubular member has an inner diameter sufficient to accommodate coaxial linear displacement of a shuttle assembly and an outer diameter sufficient to fit within an upper body orifice in the upper body section. At least one attachment member outwardly extends from the tubular member and is retained between the upper body section and the bonnet. The tubular member has an opening in the sleeve wall to provide fluid communication from the choke inlet to the interior of the tubular member. A method of assembling a choke with a replaceable sleeve insert is also described.

A radial distance is formed between the at least one outer casing and the inner casing, the radial distance corresponding to at least the radial extent of a tool carrier to be introduced into the inner casing.
