摘要: A failsafe vale provides “Hole-In-The-Wall” failsafe functionality for thin-wing aircraft control surface actuation systems having a geared rotary actuator powered by a hydraulic rotary motor. The failsafe valve is associated with the hydraulic rotary motor and mechanically connected to the control surface, and enables the flight control surface to return to an aerodynamically neutral failsafe position if electrical control and/or hydraulic pressure is lost. When the failsafe valve receives a normal command pressure from the hydraulic system, the valve is inactive and the actuation system operates normally. However, if there is a loss of electrical command capacity to control hydraulic valves and/or a loss of hydraulic pressure, the failsafe valve is activated and connects one of the motor hydraulic control lines to the case return line for the motor if the control surface is away from its failsafe position. Consequently, the control surface will be hydraulically powered or aerodynamically ratcheted to its failsafe position in the failure event.

摘要: An electrohydraulic system includes an output shaft, a hydraulic piston, and a preload device. The output shaft rotationally drives the valve and extends along a first axis. The hydraulic piston extends along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, is actuated by a pressure medium, and rotates the output shaft. The preload device stores energy via preloading of an elastic element, which extends along a third axis, by a hydraulic cylinder and to transmit the energy to the output shaft in the event of a fault. The hydraulic piston is guided into first and second cylinder housings, and at least one of the cylinder housings is connected to the hydraulic cylinder. A check valve is arranged between the cylinder housing and the hydraulic cylinder, and is configured to decouple the preload device from the hydraulic piston, the blocking direction going from the hydraulic cylinder to the cylinder housing.

摘要: For determining the operability of a fluid driven safety valve, a method comprising the following steps is described: A partial stroke test is performed on the safety valve, resulting in a stroke-pressure curve. The stroke pressure curve is extrapolated (330, 340) beyond the measured range (360) up to the safety closing position (350). From the extrapolated stroke-pressure curve, the closing pressure reserve (320) can be determined. In this way, the functionality of the safety valve can be checked during operation.

摘要: The invention relates to a control system which comprises: a plurality of flow valves on channels of reaction fluid, which are i) in a closed position or ii) in an open position; a plurality of control pipes connected to a source of control fluid and to a respective control pipe, all or part of the flow valves switching to the closed position when the pressure of the control fluid in the control pipe drops below a predetermined threshold; a discharge pipe connected to the control pipes, in order to discharge the control fluid from the control pipes; a safety device connected i) to each control pipe and ii) to the discharge pipe and configured to have, selectively: i) a service configuration, wherein the control fluid flows to each control pipe, thus opening each flow valve, and ii) a safety configuration, wherein the control fluid is discharged through the discharge pipe, thus closing each flow valve.

摘要: A steering system for a trailing or leading axle of a vehicle includes a steering angle sensor for measuring a steering angle of wheels of a front axle of the vehicle, a driving speed sensor for measuring a driving speed of the vehicle, an electric motor that drives a hydraulic pump, and a working cylinder connected to the hydraulic pump for steering the wheels of the trailing axle. The system also includes a control device that determines a trailing angle of wheels on the trailing axle of the vehicle and actuates the electric motor in a corresponding manner. The working cylinder has a center position borehole via which hydraulic fluid is released from the working cylinder. A piston closes the center position borehole in the straight-ahead position of the wheels of the trailing axle. The center position borehole can only be closed by a piston seal of the piston.

Some apparatuses include a hydraulic device having a first hydraulic actuator and a second hydraulic actuator, wherein each of the first and second hydraulic actuators comprises at least a first hydraulic cavity, a second hydraulic cavity, and a piston. Some apparatuses also include a controller coupled to the hydraulic device. In some embodiments, the controller is configured to receive hydraulic fluid from a fluid source via at least two parallel hydraulic lines coupled to the controller, select a first hydraulic line of the at least two parallel hydraulic lines, and transfer the hydraulic fluid from the selected first hydraulic line to a first cavity of the first hydraulic actuator to apply pressure to a first piston to actuate the hydraulic device.
