摘要： The invention relates to a method for directly or indirectly applying a liquid or pasty application medium (2) onto one or both sides of a continuous surface (4), wherein the application medium (2) is applied to the surface (4) in a plurality of single application regions by means of a plurality of single application nozzles (12) spaced apart from one another side by side and/or in succession in the direction of width (B) and/or longitudinal direction of the surface (4) and clearly distanced (D) from the surface (4), the application medium (2) emerging from each of these nozzles, wherein adjacent single application regions each intersect (U) at least in part in their respective edge regions, causing a layer of application medium to be produced across substantially the entire width (B) of the surface (4) to be coated. The invention also relates to an apparatus for performing this method.

摘要： In a device for the coating of a running web of paper or cardboard, provisions are that in a press gap formed between two rolls a coating substance applied in a very small quantity on the surface of the one roll is first pressed on the web leaving a very thin coat on the web which, however, covers all spots including the "mounds" of microroughness. Next, the second coat can be applied and dosed on the still moist first coat with the usual means. In the process, the first coat is preferably dosed on the shell of the first roll, by means of the peripheral grooves of a rotary doctor. The same may be performed also as regards the second coating on the web.

摘要： An arrangement for dosing with a blade, in coating machines or similar, onto a running web of paper or cardboard carried by a roll in or with the arrangement. The blade is forced by means of a hold-down or several hold-down sections on the roll respectively the web. A transmitter transmits light, notably laser light. The blade features in the area between the contact line of the hold-down on it, and its contact line on the roll respectively the web, on its side away from the roll, at least one light-reflecting layer for reflection of the light ray directed by the transmitter at the layer. A receiver registers the position or angle of the ray reflected upon it by the light-reflecting layer of the blade. A controller is provided for controlling, dependent on the position signal of the receiver for the reflected light ray, the angular position of the blade, notably in its area between the contact line of the hold-down or the hold-down section and the roll.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device for coating traveling webs of paper or board having two web guide rolls closely adjacent each other. Each roll has an applicator associated on its periphery. The applicators cooperate with each other at least in part for the coating of the web directly one after the other, preferably within at most 0.15 seconds. The rolls are arranged one above the other--possibly somewhat laterally shifted from each other. The lower roll has an applicator chamber of a nozzle applicator in the region of its periphery remote from the upper roll. The upper roll has at least one of the following on its web-entrance side--with respect to the lower roll--a sump chamber for coating composition formed of a doctor element and its mount and on its other side, an applicator chamber of a nozzle applicator. The lower roll may be adapted to be swung or lowered away from the upper roll and/or the upper roll may be liftable away from the lower roll.
