    Abstract: A display apparatus is provided that includes: a printed circuit board (PCB); a light emitting diode (LED) chip mounted on the PCB and configured to emit light; an optical dome disposed over and enclosing the LED chip; a distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) layer arranged on an upper surface of the LED chip; a liquid crystal panel configured to block or pass light output from the LED chip; and an optical film arranged between the LED chip and the liquid crystal panel. A ratio of a height of the optical dome to a diameter of a bottom surface of the optical dome is 0.25 to 0.31, and the optical film includes a quantum dot sheet formed to enhance color reproducibility by making a change in wavelength of light.

    Abstract: Provided is a display apparatus including a liquid crystal panel, a substrate disposed under the liquid crystal panel, and a reflective sheet provided with a hole and disposed on a first side of the substrate. The substrate may include at least one feed portion and at least one antistatic portion. A light source module may be disposed within an area defined by the hole of the reflective sheet on the first side of the substrate. The light source module may be provided with a light emitting diode and an insulating dome covering the light emitting diode such that the at least one feed portion is disposed on the first side of the substrate and is in contact with the light emitting diode of the light source module, and the at least one antistatic portion may be disposed within the area defined by the hole of the reflective sheet.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a light source array in which a plurality of light sources emitting light by a local dimming are arranged, a color conversion layer comprising color conversion particles that convert the emitted light into light of a certain color, and configured to emit white light by using the converted light, a display panel configured to generate an image by using the white light, and a selective transmission member arranged between the light source array and the color conversion layer. The selective transmission member is configured to transmit the light to the color conversion layer, and avoid transmitting the light in the color conversion layer to the light source array.
