Abstract: A scale inhibitor fluid includes 0.001 ppm to 100 ppm of a phosphonate compound, 20 ppm to 400 ppm of a cation-containing surfactant, and an aqueous fluid. The cation-containing surfactant includes at least one of a single positively charged cation-containing surfactant, a double positively charged cation-containing surfactant and a zwitterionic cation-containing surfactant. A method for inhibiting scale formation in a wellbore includes introducing a phosphonate compound, a cation-containing surfactant and an aqueous fluid to the wellbore to produce a scale inhibitor fluid.

Abstract: Methods for treating a formation may include introducing components of a treatment solution into a wellbore such that the treatment solution contacts the formation to be treated, where the treatment solution may include urea, urease, a calcium ion source, one or more polysaccharides, a casein protein, a protease, an ionic compound, and a sugar, where the formation may have an amount of sand production before treatment and may be in fluid contact with the wellbore, and where an amount of sand production after treatment may be less than the amount of sand production before treatment. Consolidated sand structure compositions may include previously unconsolidated sand interlinked by inter-particle cementitious bonds comprising deposited calcium carbonate crystals, where the consolidated sand has a structural strength and the consolidated sand structure is porous to permit fluid flow through the composition.

Abstract: A nanocomposite including a metal oxide and two-dimensional nanosheets. The metal oxide includes at least one of zirconia and titania, and the two-dimensional nanosheets include at least one of reduced graphene oxide and boron nitride. A weight ratio of the metal oxide to the two-dimensional nanosheets is in a range of 2:1 to 19:1, or in a range or 2:1 to 9:1. Making the nanocomposite includes forming a first aqueous dispersion including zirconia nanoparticles and graphene oxide powder, combining a reducing agent with the first aqueous dispersion, irradiating the first aqueous dispersion with microwave radiation, thereby yielding a second aqueous dispersion including zirconia and graphene, and separating the nanocomposite from the second aqueous dispersion, wherein the nanocomposite comprises zirconia and graphene.
