Abstract: In one example, a computing device is configured to calculate savings information associated with a lighting infrastructure application framework. The example computing device comprises means for receiving real time energy usage data from a plurality of lighting node platform devices within the lighting infrastructure application framework; means for calculating energy savings information associated with management and a use of the plurality of lighting node platform devices; means for automatically calculating carbon credit information based on the calculated energy savings information associated with the management and the use of the plurality of lighting node platform devices; and means for transmitting a request for carbon credits based on the calculated carbon credit information.

Abstract: In one example, a method of a computing device calculates savings information associated with a lighting infrastructure application framework. Abstract: In one example, a computing device is configured to provide a data market associated with a lightning infrastructure applications framework. An example device comprises a memory and a processor coupled to the memory configured with processor-executable instructions to perform operations comprising receiving, at the computing device, data related to a lighting infrastructure that includes at least one lighting node platform device; calculating a value and bidding conditions of the received data based on value factors, wherein the value factors include at least a data type and collection area; receiving a bid message for the receive data; determining whether bidding conditions have been met based on the calculated bidding conditions; and transmitting the data to a recipient device associated with the received bid message when the bidding conditions are determined to have been met.

Abstract: A method for a computing device calculates savings information associated with a lighting infrastructure application framework. The method comprises receiving, at the computing device, data from a lighting infrastructure, the data including at least one of sensor data and controller information related to at least one of a sensor and a controller; calculating savings information associated with management and a use of the plurality of lighting node platform devices. One embodiment, the data includes real time energy usage data from a plurality of lighting node platform devices within the lighting infrastructure application framework. The method automatically calculates energy savings information and carbon credit information based on the calculated energy savings information. The energy and carbon credit information are associated with the management and the use of the plurality of lighting node platform devices, and transmits a request for carbon credits based on the calculated carbon credit information.

An example method comprises receiving, at the computing device, the software, storing the received software in relation to a provider of the software, transmitting the software to destination devices in response to receiving a request, calculating at least one of a fee and a revenue in response to transmitting the software, and transmitting a message indicating a value of the fee or the revenue, wherein the message is transmitted to one of the application provider and the lighting infrastructure owner.
