    Abstract: An object of this technology is for one apparatus to effectively notify the other apparatus whether or not synchronization target clocks are correctly synchronized therebetween. A wireless apparatus includes a main control section, a wireless control section, and a clock synchronization management section. The main control section manages time using a first clock (synchronization target clock). The wireless control section manages time using a second clock (reference clock). The synchronization management section manages a clock synchronization state. The wireless control section notifies another wirelessly connected wireless apparatus of information regarding the clock synchronization state through transmission of a frame.

    Abstract: A control apparatus that transmits a confirmation request to confirm whether a direct communication is possible to each terminal as a target of the direct communication. Each terminal confirms whether the direct communication is possible and transmits the confirmation result to the control apparatus. The control apparatus judges whether the direct communication is possible based on the confirmation result transmitted from the terminal and transmits a switch request for the direct communication to the terminal side. Therefore, a situation where a communication cannot actually be established when switching to the direct communication can be avoided.

    Abstract: There is provided a communication control device including an acquisition unit configured to acquire a result of determination of whether a predetermined condition for connection of a wireless communication terminal to a wireless communication network that is different from a mobile communication network is satisfied, and a control unit configured to control a mobile communication terminal that communicates via the mobile communication network to switch an operation mode from a first mode to a second mode when the predetermined condition is satisfied. The operation mode is an operation mode for communication performed in a first wireless communication scheme that the wireless communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal support. The first mode is a mode in which power consumption is smaller than in the second mode. The second mode is a mode in which the mobile communication terminal is capable of transmitting or receiving data in the first wireless communication scheme.

    Abstract: A driving element which performs driving according to a level of a voltage signal to be transmitted optically, a modulation current driving circuit configured to supply a modulation current modulated by the driving element to a light source for optical communication configured to convert a current signal into light and to output the light, and a constant current supply circuit configured to supply a constant current to the light source for optical communication are included. Then, when the voltage signal is at a first level, the driving element is turned on and the modulation current driving circuit supplies the modulation current to the light source for optical communication. When the voltage signal is at a second level, the driving element is turned off and the modulation current driving circuit stops supplying the modulation current. The present technique can be applied, for example, to an optical transmission system.
