    Abstract: There is provided a display device including a display panel including pixels, and a display panel driver configured to drive the display panel, wherein the display panel driver includes a timing controller configured to receive image signals and timing signals from the outside, to convert at least some of the image signals, and to output the converted image signals, wherein the image signals include first image signals corresponding to a first area in the display panel, wherein each of image signals corresponds to each of the pixels and includes a red signal, a green signal, and a blue signal, wherein the timing controller includes a signal receiver configured to receive the image signals and the timing signals, and a first converter configured to receive the first image signals from the signal receiver, to perform color weakness-compensating conversion on the first image signals, and to output the converted first image signals.

    Abstract: Provided are a touch sensing unit and a display device including the same. The touch sensing unit includes a substrate including glass or a polymer resin, and a sensor electrode layer including sensor electrodes and sensor lines disposed on the substrate and a sensor insulating film configured to cover the sensor electrodes and the sensor lines. The sensor electrodes emit an electromagnetic wave according to transmission signals of the sensor lines. The sensor electrodes transmit reception signals to the sensor lines according to the electromagnetic wave received from the outside. The electromagnetic wave has a frequency of 10 GHz to 100 GHz.

    Abstract: A display device including a substrate; a display element layer on the substrate, the display element layer including light emitting devices; a circuit element layer between the substrate and the display element layer, the circuit element layer including signal lines and light transmitting areas which are located between the signal lines in a plan view and allow light to be transmitted therethrough; a first light blocking layer between the substrate and the circuit element layer, the first light blocking layer including first openings; and a second light blocking layer on the first light blocking layer, the second light blocking layer including second openings. The second light blocking layer includes second sub-light blocking layers disposed to be spaced apart from each other, the second sub-light blocking layers each having the second openings. The first openings of the first light blocking layer overlaps with an area between the second sub-light blocking layers.
