摘要: A display device comprises a display panel which comprises scan lines, sensing lines, pixels electrically connected to each of the scan lines, and photo sensors electrically to each of the scan lines and the sensing lines, a scan driver which outputs scan signals to the scan lines according to a scan control signal, a timing controller which outputs the scan control signal to the scan driver, and a readout circuit which receives light sensing signals of the photo sensors from the sensing lines. The timing controller sets a frame frequency of the scan control signal to a first frame frequency in a first mode in which the display panel displays an image. The timing controller sets the frame frequency of the scan control signal to a second frame frequency in a second mode in which the photo sensors sense a fingerprint.

摘要: A display device includes light emitting and receiving pixels, a reset line, a fingerprint scan line, a fingerprint sensing line, and first and second voltage lines in a display region. Each light receiving pixel includes a light receiving element including a first electrode and a second electrode connected to the second voltage line, a sensing transistor connecting the first electrode to the fingerprint sensing line according to a fingerprint scan signal applied to the fingerprint scan line and a reset transistor to connect the first voltage line to the first electrode according to a reset signal applied to the reset line. A first voltage applied to the first voltage line is greater than a second voltage applied to the second voltage line, and a third voltage applied to the fingerprint sensing line is greater than the second voltage and smaller than the first voltage.

摘要: A display device may include: a first substrate including pixel areas; a circuit element layer disposed on a first surface of the first substrate, and including at least one conductive layer; a light emitting element layer disposed on the circuit element layer; pixels each including a circuit element and a light emitting element disposed on the circuit element layer and the light emitting element layer in a corresponding one of the pixel areas; a first light transmitting hole array layer including first light transmitting holes distributed in the circuit element layer; and a photo sensor array layer disposed on a second surface of the first substrate and configured to overlap with the first light transmitting hole array layer, the photo sensor array layer comprising photo sensors. The first light transmitting holes may include openings distributed in the at least one conductive layer.

摘要: A display device includes a fingerprint sensor including a first layer having at least one photo sensor to generate a fingerprint image corresponding to reflected light from a fingerprint contact surface, light emitting elements to transmit light reflected by the fingerprint, and a second layer including pin holes to allow reflected light to be incident upon the at least one photo sensor; and fingerprint detector to receive the fingerprint image from the fingerprint sensor, to extract a first image corresponding to a first region of the fingerprint and a second image corresponding to a second region of the fingerprint, to compare the first and second images to determine similarity, and to perform fingerprint authentication, based on similarity determination, where the fingerprint first region is in contact with the fingerprint contact surface and the fingerprint second region is not in contact with the fingerprint contact surface.
