A method of controlling a display device including a touch screen is provided. The method includes displaying, on the touch screen, a plurality of windows respectively corresponding to executing applications, such that the windows do not overlap each other, displaying a plurality of boundary lines differentiating the plurality of windows, and a center button disposed at an intersection point of the plurality of boundary lines, receiving, through the touch screen, an input of a window size change command to change a size of at least one of the plurality of windows, and resizing and displaying at least one of the plurality of windows in correspondence to the window size change command.

An image display apparatus and an image displaying method are provided. The image display apparatus includes a display; and a processor configured to parse information about a channel selected in response to a channel selection signal, determine whether to provide a plurality of services through the selected channel based on the parsed information, and, in response to the determining that the plurality of services are to be provided through the selected channel, obtain a plurality of service streams respectively corresponding to the plurality of services provided through the selected channel; and a decoder configured to decode one service stream from among the obtained plurality of service streams.

An image sensor includes a pixel array having a plurality of layers and a control unit. Each of the plurality of layers including pixels having a photoelectric conversion element and a transmission transistor therein. The photoelectric conversion element is configured to collect charges during an associated charge collection time period and the transmission transistor is configured to transmit the charges to a respective floating diffusion node at an end of the charge collection time period. The control unit configured to individually instruct the transmission transistors associated with different ones of the layers to transmit the charges to the respective floating diffusion nodes such that the charge collection time periods associated with the photoelectric conversion elements implemented in at least two of the layers differs in length.

An apparatus for preventing a malfunction of a peripheral device in a portable terminal with multiple processors includes a battery, a peripheral device electrically connected to a switch through a I/O pins, a first processor in which a control port for the peripheral device is electrically connected to the switch through the GPIO method, and which controls driving of the peripheral device through generation of a normal high signal, a second processor electrically connected to the switch through the GPIO method, and the switch driven by the battery, configured to operate such that the control port of the first processor is grounded when it is determined that an unintended high signal is generated from the second processor before the portable terminal is completely booted.
