摘要： There are provided a system and a method for providing position information of a mobile terminal using cellular broadcasting technology. The ephemeris and almanac information of the GPS satellite required for calculating the position of the mobile terminal are broadcasted by the CBS through the BTS to which the mobile terminal is pertinent, so that the call processing procedure between the mobile terminal and the PDE which is usually carried out to obtain the position information of the GPS satellite may be omitted. In the case that the position of the mobile terminal is changed in real time by a vehicle or the like, it can provide very precisely the position information of the mobile terminal since the time consumed for the mobile terminal to define the traffic channel for obtaining the position information of the GPS satellite is reduced. In addition, in the system of the present invention, since the call processing procedure is simplified, a load applied to the PDE is reduced, so that it can suppress the additional installation of the PDE which is an expensive device relative to other components.

摘要： A method and a mobile terminal for automatically recognizing the connection of an external device are provided. By measuring a first voltage between a first pole of an earphone jack and ground and measuring a second voltage between a second pole of the earphone jack and ground, a controller determines whether an external device is connected to the mobile terminal based on changes in the measured first voltage and, when an external device is connected, the controller determines the type of the external device based on the measured second voltage. Therefore, the mobile terminal automatically determines the type of the external device connected through the earphone jack and automatically switches to a TTY transmission mode when a TTY terminal or CTM converter is connected.

摘要： A device for arraying a thermal printer head for use in a thermal printer is provided. The thermal printer includes a thermal printer head which is installed on a main frame to print on a sheet of paper and a transfer roller which transfers the sheet of paper at the state where the transfer roller is closely attached to the thermal printer head. The thermal printer head arraying device includes head arraying units (A) which are disposed in either side wall of the main frame, respectively. The head arraying unit (A) has an eccentric cam which is connected with a rotational shaft on either side surface of the thermal printer head, in which a spring stationary unit is extended from one side of the eccentric cam, and a spring which provides the eccentric cam with an elastic force and thus one end of which is fixedly connected with a side wall of the main frame and the other end of which is connected with the spring stationary unit of the eccentric cam, so as to closely uniformly array the thermal printer head on the transfer roller. The thermal printer head arraying device also includes a head open unit (B) which is installed on a side wall of the main frame. The head open unit (B) has a head open lever which is extended from the eccentric cam, and an open lever lock which has the eccentric cam rotate through an area contact to the head open lever, so as to isolate the thermal printer head from the transfer roller when the thermal printer is internally repaired or sheets of paper are exchanged.
