    摘要: A sensing circuit is provided that senses an externally provided pressure on a panel, and includes a sensing capacitor, a first switching element, a second switching element and a third switching element; where the sensing capacitor includes a sensing electrode on the first substrate, the insulating layer and the opposite electrode; the sensing capacitor varies a capacitance based on the externally provided pressure; the first switching element is electrically connected to the sensing electrode to charge the sensing capacitor based on a first switching signal; the second switching element outputs a current based on a second switching signal and a first voltage; the third switching element is electrically connected to the sensing electrode to control the current based on the variation of the capacitance of the sensing capacitor to generate a sensing signal; and where a thickness is decreased, and an image display quality is improved.

    摘要: A shift register includes a plurality of stages each generating an output signal in sequence and including a buffering section, a driving section, a first charging section, and a charging control section. The buffering section receives one of a scan start signal and an output signal of a previous stage so that the driving section generates the output signal of a present stage. The first charging section includes a first terminal electrically connected to the driving section and a second terminal electrically connected to a first source voltage. The charging control section applies the output signal of a next stage to the first charging section. Therefore, a gradual failure of TFT is reduced.

    摘要: A gate driver circuit includes a first shift register and a second shift register. The first shift register applies (4n−3)-th and (4n−2)-th gate signals to (4n−3)-th and (4n−2)-th gate lines, respectively, in response to a first clock signal, a second clock signal having a delayed phase by 1H time with respect to the first clock signal, and a third clock signal having opposite phase to the first clock signal. The second shift register applies (4n−1)-th and 4n-th gate signals to (4n−1)-th and 4n-th gate lines, respectively, in response to the first clock signal, the third clock signal, and a fourth clock signal having opposite phase to the second clock signal. Therefore, a number of transistors in the first and second shift registers may be reduced.

    摘要: A display panel includes an array substrate, an opposite substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate. A sensing array outputs an initial voltage in response to an initial thickness of the liquid crystal layer during an initializing time and a sensing voltage in response to a varied thickness of the liquid crystal layer due to external force during a sensing time. A control part compares the sensing voltage with the initial voltage, determines whether the external force is applied to the display panel, and generates information indicating a position to which the external force is applied. Thus, the display apparatus may improve sensing ability to an external signal inputted through the display panel thereof.

    摘要: An apparatus for driving a display panel includes a first memory which stores a frame image data, a second memory which stores overshooting information. The apparatus receives an image signal from an external system via a CPU interface process. The second memory stores a difference data between the frame image data and an overshooting data. The overshoot is then calculated from the difference data and the frame image data. The apparatus also includes a two-line memory which stores an image signal of an n-th frame in a line unit and an image signal of an n−1-th frame in another line. The two-line memory compares the consecutive two frame data, so that the apparatus extracts overshooting information from a look up table.
