Abstract:
A developer includes a waste toner container having a cleaning member to clean a photoconductive drum, and a waste toner transporting member to transport waste toner from the photoconductive drum to a waste toner storage area. The waste toner transporting member is moved up, down, forward, and backward by a rotation member having an eccentricity unit. As the rotation member rotates, the waste toner transporting member, which is connected to the eccentricity unit, moves up, down, forward, and backward.

The display apparatus includes: a display panel which displays an image; a backlight assembly which includes at least one light source unit which supplies a light to the display panel; and a brightness correcting unit that corrects a brightness of the image using brightness correction information which is determined based on the brightness of each area of the image.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is provided to operate a light emitting unit with a small number of power drivers. The display apparatus has a plurality of light emitting units, a power driver, whose total provided therein is less than the total of light emitting units, that outputs driving power to the light emitting units. A power switch is switched on and off to supply the driving power to one of the plurality of light emitting units, and a controller controls the power switch to sequentially supply the driving power to the plurality of light emitting units.
Abstract:
An ion print head and image forming apparatus using the same includes at least one discharge cell array structure having microelectrodes to form an electrostatic latent image on an insulation layer of an electrostatic drum by selectively applying charged particles to the insulation layer. The at least one discharge cell is provided with a plurality of discharge elements to emit the charged particles, and a controller to control the plurality of discharge elements. Each of the plurality of discharge elements includes a base, a microelectrode disposed on the base to emit the charged particles toward the insulation layer, and a control electrode spaced apart from the base and having a hole therein through which the emitted charged particles pass and to control the emission of the charged particle from the microelectrode.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a deuterated novel iridium complex phosphorescent material used as a light-emitting layer material of an organic electroluminescence device, a preparation method thereof and an organic electroluminescence device using the same. Compared with an organic electroluminescence device using the prior art light-emitting layer with no deuterium substitution, the organic electroluminescence device using the deuterated material of the present invention has improved luminescence efficiency, luminance, power efficiency, thermal stability and the like.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method of improving intelligibility of a voice signal. A method of improving intelligibility of a voice signal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes analyzing a background noise signal on a call receiving side, classifying a received voice signal into a silence signal, an unvoiced sound signal, and a voiced sound signal, and intensifying the classified unvoiced sound signal and voiced sound signal on the basis of the analyzed background noise signal on the call receiving side.
Abstract:
A mirror positioning structure for compensating skew and bow includes a mirror rotating member having a recess at one side to hold a mirror inserted therein and a rotation shaft protruding from an opposite side. A mirror position changing member has an opening through which the rotation shaft of the mirror rotating member passes such that the mirror rotating member is rotatably coupled with the mirror position changing member. A fixing member has a receiving space in one side so that the mirror position changing member moves rectilinearly within the receiving space.
Abstract:
Provided is a load driving device controlling a drive of a load including a driver for periodically turning on/off a current according to a switching clock signal and supplying a average driving current to the load. Further provided is a dimming controller for controlling the driver to turn on/off the drive of the load based on a dimming step. Also provided is a controller for controlling at least one of the driver and the dimming controller so as to make a step interval of the dimming step and a switching clock period of the switching clock signal the same. A load driving device is provided that is capable of stably controlling the dimming of a drive of a load, by improving a linear response characteristic of a driving current according to a dimming control.
Abstract:
Provided is a method and apparatus for coding a wavelet transformed image in consideration of the human visual system (HVS) in frequency and spatial domains. A visual weight is generated by calculating the product of a spatial domain weight, which is generated by using a local bandwidth normalized according to the HVS, and a frequency domain weight generated by using an error sensitivity of a subband in a wavelet domain. Wavelet coefficients are coded and transmitted according to a coding order determined on the basis of the generated visual weight, thereby providing an image with improved visual quality at low channel capacity.
