    摘要: A magnetic head device having a slider attached to a holding member. A recessed groove is formed in the holding member near the trailing edge of the slider. That part of the holding member which is closer to the leading edge than the recessed groove is attached to the back of the slider. For securing the magnetic head, a coating material, such as IPA, is applied to a portion of the trailing edge of the slider. The slider is then attached to the holding member by an adhesive. Thereafter, the IPA is removed by cleaning to form a clearance.

    摘要: A control valve is provided to be mainly used in a clutch-less compressor of the type in which displacement of the compressor is varied depending on the inclination of a drive plate which varies depending on the crank pressure. The control valve includes biasing means that applies force to a valve body, a force transferring member that urges the valve body to forcibly open the valve, and a solenoid assembly to actuate the force transferring member. The valve remains closed when no electric current is supplied to the solenoid assembly, regardless of the crank pressure or the suction pressure. This facilitates minimum displacement operation of the compressor for a desired period of time and therefore makes the valve suitable for a clutch-less type compressor that is directly connected to an engine with a belt and/or a pulley.

    摘要: The solenoid valve (10) has an armature chamber (38) communicated with the outlets (86) of the valve to receive feed of fluid. The fluid in the chamber (38) is drained through drain passages (96) which are arranged to open into the chamber (38) at a location radially outwardly offset from the axis of the valve. The flow of fluid flowing into the chamber (38) is directly transferred to the drain passages (96) to thereby wash ferrous particles away from the magnetic gap to self-clean the gap each time the valve is opened. A spacer (62) made of a non-magnetizable material covers the upper end face of the armature (36) to prevent accumulation of ferrous particles.

The magnetic head has a groove which is formed on the backside of the first core thereof in such a manner that the groove substantially parallels a magnetic gap line, the groove confronts the holding member and the distance between the gap line and an edge line of the groove adjacent to the gap line is 2 to 20% of the entire length of the first and the second cores. Furthermore, no adhesive adheres to the second core.
