Abstract:
A blasting apparatus for cleaning and deburring workpieces having a housing defining a blasting chamber therein. A rotary drum within the chamber is supported for rotation about a horizontal axis. A drive effects rotation of the drum through a plurality of angular steps during each revolution. The drum has a plurality of circumferentially spaced compartments opening radially outwardly thereof. A workpiece holder is positioned within each compartment. A housing opening cooperates with the drum, when stationary, to define a station for permitting loading and unloading of workpieces with respect to the holder associated with one compartment. A gun arrangement effects deburring and cleaning of workpieces mounted on the drum. The gun arrangement includes a plurality of nozzles mounted circumferentially so that each nozzle cooperates with a selected compartment and moves axially therealong for treating the workpiece.
Abstract:
A transmission operating apparatus for automatic transmission wherein, when a shift lever of the automatic transmission is shifted to a specific position such as a parking position, a detent pin provided for the shift lever is engaged with a movable body and is moved to a first position so as to be engaged with detent means so that the shift to another shift position is prevented. A lock is engaged with the movable body which has been moved, together with the detent pin, to the first shift position so that the lock means cannot be separated from the movable body if a driver does not perform any special operation such as footing the brake or the like. Therefore, the movable body cannot be moved to the second position, and the shift lever cannot be moved to another shift position. The movable body is positioned at the second position when the shift lever is positioned at another shift position, while the same is engaged with the detent pin immediately after the shift lever is operated to the specific position.
Abstract:
In a heating apparatus for heating the air sucked into a gas turbine by a heat exchanger, the temperature fluctuation of the heated air is suppressed even in the period, for which a steam source to be fed to the heat exchanger is changed. For that suppression, a heat exchanger (30) is fed with both a self-can steam (S1), the feed rate of which is controlled by a self-can steam control valve (41), and the auxiliary-steam (S2), the feed rate of which is controlled by an auxiliary-steam control valve (51). At the starting time, the quantity of the auxiliary-steam (S2) is reduced at a constant rate, and the quantity of the self-can steam (S1) is increased while a feedback control and a feedforward control are being made. At the stopping time, the quantity of the self-can steam (S1) is reduced at a constant rate, and the quantity of the auxiliary-steam (S2) is increased while the feedback control and the feedforward control are being made.
Abstract:
An electronic automobile anti-theft apparatus having high reliability includes a motor, which moves a lock pin to lock a steering shaft of an automobile. A solenoid maintains the lock pin in a state released from the steering shaft and operates to permit the lock pin to lock the steering shaft by receiving power. An ECU controls the operations of the motor and the solenoid. A mechanical switch stops supplying the solenoid with power to prevent unintentional locking by the lock pin when the automobile is being driven or when driving of the automobile is enabled.
Abstract:
An apparatus for insertion of a key therein substantially prevents foreign matter from entering into a key insertion hole, and even if foreign matter does enter into the key insertion hole, discharges the foreign matter therefrom. A shutter is provided within the key insertion hole so as to be movable along a direction of insertion of a key. The shutter is always urged by a compression coil spring toward an opening of the insertion hole. In a state in which no key is inserted in the insertion hole, the shutter is urged by the compression coil spring and closes the insertion hole. As a result, foreign matter such as dust or the like can be prevented from entering into the insertion hole. Further, the shutter is provided with a reflecting surface, and when no key is inserted in the insertion hole, the reflecting surface reflects light from a light source so as to illuminate the opening of the insertion hole. Thus, even if a region surrounding the opening of the insertion hole is dark, the opening can be visually confirmed and the key can be easily inserted into the insertion hole.
Abstract:
A wound covering material comprising 1 part by weight of glucomannan, 0.20-0.99 part by weight of a solubility modifier comprising pullulan or carrageenan, 0.10-12 parts by weight of physiologically acceptable adhesive polymer base, and 0.20-20 parts by weight of at least one plasticizer selected from the group consisting of polyhydric alcohols, sugar alcohols, monosaccharides, disaccharides and oligosaccharides.
Abstract:
A compact shift lock unit is provided having a detecting switch and a solenoid operated stopper driver that drives a stopper that engages with and separates from a shift lock plate. When the detecting switch detects a P position, power input connector pins of the stopper driver are positioned in a row with signal output connector pins of the detecting switch. The signal output connector pins and the power input connector pins are interconnected by a single female-type connector at wiring between the stopper driver as well as the detecting switch. A shift lock controller operates and controls the stopper driver so that the stopper separates from the shift lock plate and allows it to move due to the movement of a grooved pin when a shift lever is in a P position and a brake pedal is depressed.
Abstract:
A shift lever device is used when an assembly of a vehicle is performed while the vehicle is being moved in a state where a shift lever of an automatic transmission gear is in a neutral state, i.e., in a state where wheels can be freely turned. A movable body is driven by a detent pin moved in the acial direction of the shift lever in a state where the shift lever is at a park position. The movable body is coupled to a steering locking device. An operator moves the movable body to a position at which it can be driven by the detent pin of the shift lever in spite of the fact that the shift lever is not at the parking position, so as to enable an igition key to be removed from the steering locking device.
Abstract:
A locking apparatus for a shift lever in an automatic transmission of a vehicle which permits the shift lever to move from a vehicle non-driving position to a vehicle driving position by means of an electrically operated member, such as a solenoid, in the presence of a predetermined condition such as that of applying a brake pedal. When the shift lever is located in the non-driving position, a detent pin for inhibiting the shift lever from shifting is engaged with a lock recess formed in a lock member and the lock member is held in a lock position by means for the electrically operated member. Even though the electrically operated member fails to function due to a malfunction or the like, an occupant can manually shift the shift lever from the non-driving position to the driving position in order to move the vehicle.
