    摘要: Methods for abrasive cleaning, existing pipes before coating interior surfaces which extends the life of piping systems such as copper, steel, lead, brass, cast iron piping and composite materials. The method can include the steps of generating pressurized gas into pipes to generate a moving air stream, intermittently injecting separate spaced apart bursts of abrasive particles into the moving air stream with different cumulative amounts of the intermittent bursts of the abrasive particles that vary based on different piping diameters, cleaning interior wall surfaces of the pipes with the intermittent bursts of the particles, reducing at least one of burrs or interior lips in the interior wall surfaces of the pipes, with the intermittent bursts of the particles and removing abrasive particles and debris caused by each one of the separate burst shots of the abrasive particles.

    摘要: A method of deburring channel inlet edges inside a cavity of a gas diffuser case is disclosed. The diffuser case has a plurality of channels each having an inner surface and an inlet edge defining an inlet of the channel. The surfaces of adjacent channels co-operate to provide said inlet edge therebetween. The inlet edges of the channels are provided in an inwardly facing circular array around a central axis of the gas diffuser case. The method comprises: inserting a tool head having at least one nozzle in the cavity of the gas diffuser case; and then ejecting abrasive particles from at least one nozzle towards at least one of the channel inlet edges of the gas diffuser case to at least one of decrease a radius of at least one said edge and improve a smoothness of at least one said surface.

The orifice member is machined to form the aperture. Then, the orifice member is processed by at least two shot blasting process in opposite directions to remove burrs and trim edges of the aperture. After the process, the orifice plate is inspected by measuring an actual flow rate of the aperture. Then, the orifice plate is processed by a shot blasting process again in accordance with the measured flow rate and a target flow rate.
