    摘要: A parking mode manually releasing device for a shift-by-wire type automatic transmission is provided. The parking mode manually releasing device includes a housing that has a translational motion in interlock with rotation of a shift control lever of the automatic transmission. Additionally, a rod member is arranged to slide as far as a predetermined stroke relative to the housing and has a locking part and a locking clip is fastened to the housing. When the locking part is locked by the locking clip, the translational motion of the housing is generated in interlock with the sliding motion of the rod member, and the rod member is connected to a cable which is pulled when a parking mode is released manually.

    摘要: A transmission selector mechanism (16) in a vehicle (10) having a transmission (20), a braking system (14), and a gear selector mechanism (22) is used to prevent the transmission selector mechanism (16) from moving out of a Park position (24) unless a brake pedal (18) has been depressed. A brake pedal (18) remotely controls the braking system (14) and is moveable between a rest position and an applied position. The gear selector mechanism (22) is moveable between a Park position (24) and a plurality of drive positions (26) for remotely controlling the transmission (20). The gear selector mechanism (22) includes an axially movable rod (42) having a bottom end (60) and a detent (62) extending laterally from the rod (42) for disposition in any one of the Park (24) and drive (26) positions. An interlock system (70) initially restrains the detent (62) in the Park position (24) until the brake pedal (18) is moved to the applied position. The interlock system (70) includes an actuator (74) disposed axially under the rod (42) for selectively allowing the detent (62) out of the Park position (24). The actuator (74) is rotatable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. When the brake pedal (18) is moved to the applied position the actuator (74) is rotated to the engaged position such that the bottom end (60) of the rod (42) can be axially depressed into engagement with the actuator (74) allowing the detent (62) to be moved out of the park position (24) and into one of the plurality of drive positions (26).

    摘要: A driven hinge (20) has fixed and movable hinge sections (21, 28) that are arranged to be selectively rotated relative to one another about an axis (x.sub.1 --x.sub.1) between first and second relative angular positions. The hinge includes: a body (21) mounted on one of the hinge sections; a shaft (22) mounted on the body and adapted to be selectively rotated in either angular direction; a first driven member (23) mounted for rotation about the axis; a differential coupling (24) acting between the shaft and first driven member for transmitting and converting torque from said shaft to torque and axial thrust components on said first driven member; a selector mechanism (25) acting between said body and first driven member for exerting a force on the first driven member to (a) oppose and cancel the axial thrust component when the hinge sections are between the first and second relative angular positions, and (b) to not oppose the axial thrust component when the hinge sections are in either of the first and second positions, such that the first driven member may move from a first axial position when the hinge sections are between the first and second relative angular positions, to a second axial position when the hinge sections are in either of the first and second relative angular positions; and a locking mechanism (27) operated by axial displacement of the driven member and acting between the body and movable hinge section for preventing the hinge sections from being moved relatively when the hinge sections are in either of the first and second positions.

    摘要: A shift-locking apparatus for a column AT shift lever includes a shift-locking box arranged at a side of a brake pedal, a key-interlocking cable having a first end engaged with an interlocking block of a key cylinder and a second end engaged with a slider housed in the shift-locking box, and a shift-locking cable having a first end engaged with a shift-locking pin of a shift lever assembly and a second end engaged with the slider housed in the shift-locking box. Spherical members are provided at the second end of the key-interlocking cable and the second end of the shift-locking cable, respectively, and the engagements between the slider and the key-interlocking cable and the slider and the shift-locking cable are achieved by rotatably contacting the spherical members with respective spherical bearing seats provided in the slider. The slider is housed in the shift-locking box so as to be rotatable therein with the spherical members acting as a fulcrum, and so as to also be horizontally movable within the shift-locking box in right and left directions. A first spring is provided side by side with the slider for forcibly pushing the slider toward the side of the brake pedal. A stopper is provided on the slider at a position such that teeth formed on the stopper are engaged with teeth provided on an inner wall surface of the shift-locking box when the slider is rotated. And a second spring, having an anti-compressive force smaller than that of the first spring, is housed in the shift lever assembly for forcibly pushing the shift-locking pin in a pulling direction of the shift-locking cable.
