    摘要: A board-mounted electrical connector makes it possible to sufficiently reduce stress in the connector housing caused by threaded attachment fixtures. Metal fixtures (30) for mounting of the electrical connector to a circuit board are arranged in end sections (27) of a thin and long housing (20). The metal fixtures (30) are secured in oblong openings (72) provided in end portions (46) of a metal shield (40) attached to an outside surface of the housing (20) so that they cannot rotate inside the openings. The metal fixtures (30) are retained in the openings by means of integral resilient retaining members (71) of the shield (40) being disposed in grooves (36) in the metal fixtures (30).

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a process for producing an optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid advantageously on an industrial scale. The present invention provides a process for producing an optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid, which comprises allowing biocatalyst I, an amino group donor, pyruvic acid and glyoxylic acid to coexist in an aqueous medium to form the optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid in the aqueous medium, and collecting the formed optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid therefrom, said biocatalyst I having activity of forming the optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid from pyruvic acid and glyoxylic acid in the presence of an amino group donor. The present invention also provides a process for producing an optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid, which comprises allowing biocatalyst II, an amino group donor and optically active 4-hydroxy-2-ketoglutaric acid to coexist in an aqueous medium to form the optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid in the aqueous medium, and collecting the formed optically active 4-hydroxy-2-ketoglutaric acid therefrom, said biocatalyst II having activity of converting an optically active 4-hydroxy-2-ketoglutaric acid into the optically active .gamma.-hydroxy-L-glutamic acid in the presence of an amino group donor.

    摘要: An ultrasonic probe system is disclosed, which is designed to allow connection of a DC power supply capable of applying a voltage higher than the coercive electric field of each of a plurality of piezoelectric layers thereto, and includes a polarization turn over circuit means for, when the DC power supply is driven, turning over the polarity of the DC power supply so as to direct electric fields of every two adjacent layers constituting the piezoelectric layers in substantially opposite directions or electric fields of all the layers in the same direction. When the polarization turn over circuit means turns over the polarity of a voltage to be applied to direct electric fields of every two adjacent layers of the piezoelectric layers in substantially opposite directions or electric fields of all the layers in the same direction, the polarization turn over circuit means performs control to apply the voltage during a blanking time of an operating time of the system, thereby performing conversion of a resonance frequency, and selectively generating ultrasonic waves having a plurality of different frequencies.

    摘要: A Y-type zeolite having a SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 ratio of at least about 4 is produced by the following process. In the first step of the process, an aqueous alkali silicate solution and an aqueous alkali aluminate solution are mixed together in the presence of an alkali in an amount such that the ratio of M.sub.2 O(M: an alkali metal)/Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, present in the mixed solution, is at least about 5 by mole, followed by forming a gel in the mixed solution and, then, separating the gel therefrom. In the second step, the separated gel is incorporated in an aqueous alkali silicate solution or an aqueous alkali silicate-alkali mixed solution to obtain a slurry and, then, a Y-type zeolite crystal is formed in the slurry.

The separation of the zeolite from the aqueous alkaline reaction medium or from the aqueous medium, in which the zeolite has been slurried after being separated from the aqueous alkaline reaction medium, is effected in the added presence of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of aluminic acid.
