    摘要: The present invention proposes two alternative methods for remote fitting of one or two hearing devices (5, 5′), i.e. where a hearing device fitter (1) located in a first room (R1) provides remote support to a user (6) of the one or two hearing devices (5, 5′) located in a distant second room (R2) in order to adjust the one or two hearing devices (5, 5′) to the individual needs of the user (6). According to a first method a voice rendering signal processing is applied to the fitter's voice, thus achieving that the fitter's voice is perceived by the user (6) as if the user (6) were at a virtual user location (L) in the first room (R1) wearing the one or two hearing devices (5, 5′). The same is achieved according to a second, alternative method, wherein the fitter's voice is picked up by at least one or two microphones of one or two further hearing devices located at the virtual user location (L) at a first position (P1) and/or at a second position (P2).

    摘要: The hearing device is adapted to automatically requesting an establishment of a communication connection to at least one hearing device support provider. The hearing device support provider may comprise a person knowledgeable in hearing devices, at the hearing device seller and/or at the hearing device manufacturer, and it may comprise a computer with a suitable software. Said automatically requesting said establishment of said communication connection will usually happen, when at least one change in internal status of the hearing device occurs, like a failure or a memory overflow or the upcome of a repeatedly occuring event. The hearing device may by itself decide upon the type of change in internal status, which hearing device support provider to connect to. Typically, at least one long-range communication connection is involved.

    摘要: A method to adjust a hearing system comprising two hearing devices to be at least partly inserted into left and right ear of a head is disclosed, each hearing device comprising at least one microphone. By the steps of: exposing the hearing devices to a predefined sound source positioned at a predefined angle of incidence with respect to the head, determining power levels of signals recorded by the microphones as a function of angles of incidence of the sound source being positioned at different angle of incidence in order to obtain a relation between power levels and angle of incidence for said sound source, and storing said relation in a memory unit contained in at least one of the hearing devices, a head-related transfer function is automatically taken into account while the hearing system is adapted to the individual. Therewith, an optimal adaptation of the hearing system is obtained also resulting in precise sound source localization during an operating mode. Furthermore, a method to operate a hearing device, that is adjusted according to the inventive method to adjust the hearing device, as well as hearing systems.
