摘要： A method and apparatus for providing an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service) service to user equipments (UEs) that desire to receive the MBMS service, in a code division multiple access (CDMA) mobile communication system including a plurality of radio network controllers (RNCs), a plurality of SGSNs (Serving GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) Supporting Nodes) connected to each of the RNCs, and a plurality of the UEs wirelessly connectable to the RNCs, and providing the MBMS service to the UEs. The UEs request a desired MBMS service, and receive an MBMS service provided in response to the request. The RNCs transmit data related to the MBSM service to UEs wirelessly connected to thereto among UEs that requested the service. The SGSNs control a procedure related to the MBMS service for the UEs that requested the service. A default SGSN is individually designated for the MBMS service, and the default SGSN transmits MBMS data for the given MBMS service to UEs that requested the given MBMS service, through the RNCs.

摘要： The present invention proposes a method of making use of Cell Broadcast to support MBMS transfer service announcement or service notification transfer. The method of transferring service announcement comprises the following steps: CBC commands UTRAN connected with it by a signaling message to send service announcement; UTRAN arranges the prescribed time of sending MBMS service announcement message, adds the brief description information to the schedule message and sends the schedule message; after receiving the schedule message, UE configures physical layer thereof to prepare for receiving MBMS service announcement message. UTARN sends MBMS service announcement message at the prescribed time.

摘要： A method for selecting a cell by a user equipment (UE) to receive a Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS) service in a mobile communication system which supports the MBMS service with different frequency allocations (FAs) in the same area. In the method, a radio network controller (RNC) transmits information on an MBMS cell to the UE, and the MBMS cell information includes an MBMS offset for guaranteeing priority for cell reselection to the MBMS cell. The UE performs cell reselection using the MBMS cell information and receives the MBMS service from the reselected cell.

The UE stores TPC commands received for a specific duration from a plurality of cells in an active set, if the UE enters in the handover region during communication with a current best cell. If a next best cell is selected from the plurality of the cells, the UE determines a transmission power offset by comparing TPC commands from the current best cell with TPC commands from the next best cell for the specific duration at a time point where the best cell is changed from the current best cell to the next best cell. The UE transmits initial transmission power for the next best cell at a transmission power level determined considering the transmission power offset.

摘要： A communication system supporting an HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) service. In order to transmit common information to at least two UEs (User Equipments) among a plurality of UEs supporting the HSDPA service, the system transmits control information including common ID information indicating the common information over a shared control channel (SHCCH), upon generation of the common information. The system transmits the common information over the SHCCH in a TTI (Transmission Time Interval) equal to or after a TTI where the control information is transmitted, so that the UEs can support the HSDPA service using the common information.

摘要： An encoding method and apparatus for a DCH (Dedicated Channel) encoder and a DSCH (Downlink Shared Channel) encoder in a transmitter for a mobile communication system including the DCH encoder for encoding k bits among 10 input TFCI (Transport Format Combination Indicator) bits and the DSCH encoder for encoding remaining (10-k) bits among the input TFCI bits. The method comprises generating, by the DCH encoder, a first coded bit stream by encoding the k input bits into 32 bits, and outputting a (3k+1)-bit stream by puncturing the first coded bit stream according to a specific mask pattern corresponding to the k value; and generating, by the DSCH encoder, a second coded bit stream by encoding the (10-k) input bits into 32 bits, and outputting a {3*(10-k)+1}-bit stream by puncturing the second coded bit stream according to a specific mask pattern corresponding to the (10-k) value.

摘要： There is provided a method for allocating channel numbers to channel signals by a Node B, which repeatedly transmits a stream of n channel signals to a UE (User Equipment), each of the channel signals including a channel number and transmission data, the n channel signals having (n+1) different channel numbers, each channel having a given transmission time interval (TTI). The method comprises storing channel numbers of the n channel signals in a transmission window, and updating channel numbers such that n channel numbers are stored each time channel signals are transmitted; and allocating the same channel number as a channel number used for initial transmission to a channel signal to be transmitted if the channel signal to be transmitted is a retransmission channel signal, and allocating a channel number not belonging to the transmission window among the (n+1) channel numbers to a channel signal to be transmitted if the channel signal to be transmitted is an initial-transmission channel signal.

摘要： An apparatus for reporting downlink channel quality in a high-speed packet communication system. A channel analyzer measures downlink channel quality from a received reference channel signal. A controller determines whether a current TTI (Transmission Time Interval) is a TTI corresponding to a multiple of a first TTI or a TTI corresponding to a multiple of a second TTI. If the current TTI is a TTI corresponding to a multiple of the first TTI, the controller determines CQ (Channel Quality) refreshment information for a downlink channel received from the Node B based on the measured downlink channel quality, and if the current TTI is a TTI corresponding to a multiple of the second TTI, the controller determines CQ refinement information for the downlink channel based on the measured downlink channel quality. A CQ information transmitter generates CQ refreshment information or CQ refinement information under the control of the controller, and transmits the generated CQ refreshment information or CQ refinement information over an uplink.

A Node B determines an offset between a starting orthogonal code among the assigned orthogonal codes and the first of a plurality of successive orthogonal codes available to the HSDPA communication system, determines the number of the assigned orthogonal codes counted from the starting orthogonal code being the number of the code channels, forms orthogonal code information indicating the offset and the number of the orthogonal codes, and transmits the orthogonal code information to a UE.
