    摘要: A transmit diversity system having at least four antennas. A first adder adds a first spread signal obtained by spreading a first symbol pattern with a first orthogonal code to a second spread signal obtained by spreading the first symbol pattern with a second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a first antenna. A second adder adds the first spread signal to a third spread signal obtained by spreading an inverted symbol pattern of the first symbol pattern with the second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a second antenna. A third adder adds a fourth spread signal obtained by spreading a second symbol pattern with the first orthogonal code to a fifth spread signal obtained by spreading the second symbol pattern with the second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a third antenna. A fourth adder adds the fourth spread signal to a sixth spread signal obtained by spreading an inverted symbol of the second symbol pattern with the second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a fourth antenna.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for transmitting packet data through at least two transmit antennas in a packet data communication system using transmit antenna diversity. In the packet transmitting apparatus, a feedback information interpreter interprets feedback information including CQIs and antenna weights received from a plurality of UEs requesting a packet data service. A weight generator classifies the antenna weights and selects UEs having orthogonal weights. A transmitter applies the selected weights to packet data destined for the selected UEs and transmits the packet data to the selected UEs simultaneously.

    摘要: Disclosed a transmission apparatus in a CDMA mobile communication system. Transmission frames each have a plurality of time slots, and each of the time slots includes two data parts having the same length, a midamble intervening between the data parts, and a guard period for dividing the consecutive time slots. The transmission apparatus modulates the frames into a radio signal with a modulation signal and transmits the modulated radio signal using a plurality of antennas. A power amplifier amplifies the radio signal. A controller generates a switching control signal in a guard period of time slots of a frame associated with the radio signal amplified by the power amplifier. A switch switches the amplified radio signal from the power amplifier between a first and a second antenna in response to the switching control signal.
