摘要： Disclosed is a method for controlling uplink transmission power in a handover region by a UE in communication with a Node B using an FCS scheme. The UE stores TPC commands received for a specific duration from a plurality of cells in an active set, if the UE enters in the handover region during communication with a current best cell. If a next best cell is selected from the plurality of the cells, the UE determines a transmission power offset by comparing TPC commands from the current best cell with TPC commands from the next best cell for the specific duration at a time point where the best cell is changed from the current best cell to the next best cell. The UE transmits initial transmission power for the next best cell at a transmission power level determined considering the transmission power offset.

摘要： In a mobile communication system, if a UE enters a SHO (Soft Handover) region, the UE determines weight information for a DPCH and a PDSCH depending on DPCH signals and PDSCH signals received from Node Bs, and transmits the determined weight information to the Node Bs. The Node Bs then determine weights of the DPCH signals and the PDSCH signals to be transmitted to the UE depending on the feedback information received from the UE, and transmit the determined weights to the UE along with the DPCH signals and the PDSCH signals, respectively.

摘要： A transmit diversity system having at least four antennas. A first adder adds a first spread signal obtained by spreading a first symbol pattern with a first orthogonal code to a second spread signal obtained by spreading the first symbol pattern with a second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a first antenna. A second adder adds the first spread signal to a third spread signal obtained by spreading an inverted symbol pattern of the first symbol pattern with the second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a second antenna. A third adder adds a fourth spread signal obtained by spreading a second symbol pattern with the first orthogonal code to a fifth spread signal obtained by spreading the second symbol pattern with the second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a third antenna. A fourth adder adds the fourth spread signal to a sixth spread signal obtained by spreading an inverted symbol of the second symbol pattern with the second orthogonal code, and transmits the added signal through a fourth antenna.

摘要： A method and system are provided for transmitting data in a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication system. A receiver sets the number of sub-streams of each column of a preceding matrix with respect to all precoding matrices of channels formed between the receiver and a transmitter and measures channel states with respect to sub-stream combinations whose number is equivalent to the number of set sub-streams. The receiver transmits data according to channel states to the transmitter after measuring the channel states with respect to the sub-stream combinations and antenna combinations representing sub-streams used upon data transmission of all the precoding matrices.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for providing first and second interleaved bit streams to a modulator in order to transmit the first and second interleaved bit streams through at least two antennas in a mobile communication system. An encoder encodes a transmission data stream into a first bit stream with first priority and a second bit stream with second priority being lower than the first priority. An interleaver interleaves the first and second bit streams into the first and second interleaved bit streams. The modulator modulates the first and second interleaved bit streams. The method comprises distributing the first interleaved bit stream into first assignment bit streams for the respective antennas and the second interleaved bit stream into second assignment bit streams for the respective antennas according to power condition information of the respective antennas; and generating combination bit streams by combining the first assignment bit streams and the second assignment bit streams, distributed according to the respective antennas, and providing the generated combination bit streams to the modulator.

摘要： Disclosed a transmission apparatus in a CDMA mobile communication system. Transmission frames each have a plurality of time slots, and each of the time slots includes two data parts having the same length, a midamble intervening between the data parts, and a guard period for dividing the consecutive time slots. The transmission apparatus modulates the frames into a radio signal with a modulation signal and transmits the modulated radio signal using a plurality of antennas. A power amplifier amplifies the radio signal. A controller generates a switching control signal in a guard period of time slots of a frame associated with the radio signal amplified by the power amplifier. A switch switches the amplified radio signal from the power amplifier between a first and a second antenna in response to the switching control signal.

摘要： An apparatus and method for transmitting packet data through at least two transmit antennas in a packet data communication system using transmit antenna diversity. In the packet transmitting apparatus, a feedback information interpreter interprets feedback information including CQIs and antenna weights received from a plurality of UEs requesting a packet data service. A weight generator classifies the antenna weights and selects UEs having orthogonal weights. A transmitter applies the selected weights to packet data destined for the selected UEs and transmits the packet data to the selected UEs simultaneously.
